Please pay attention

We are totally sure that many animal lovers want the best for the animals that live in the streets. But we have to understand that loving or respecting the rights of the animals doesn’t mean necessarily that we make crazy decisions in our life collecting all animals in the streets and putting them in our home. We have several of these situations in Macau, we may understand the frustrations of some members of our community, but we disagree! We think this is not a solution neither for the people nor for the animals! We have also people putting tight collars to animals that live in the streets, and seem not controlled by anybody, forgetting that animals grow up, some get fat, and others may have allergies to some collars. Anima Donation Information

Anima has received by today decision of the Court of First Instance (Tribunal Judicial de Base) the amount of MOP 10,000.00 paid by someone considered guilty by the Court. Up to now Anima, thanks to its status of Public Utility conferred by the Macau Government in 2009, has received already from decisions of the Macau Courts almost one hundred thousand patacas. This is a public recognition of the work we are doing for our community and for our animals in Macau. The decision was signed by a Chinese Judge!...

Macao Dogs Carnival

We are reaching an agreement with IACM that will allow at least 18 dogs caught by IACM to be kept alive in the kennel until they die, under the management of Anima staff. We will disclose the agreement once we have it signed. It is a good beginning after so many years of fights between us. We continue to disagree with the easy solution of solving problems by killing animals, but we should try to reinforce the positive aspects of that cooperation. With the new law may be this number will reduce. May be! To be honest, IACM team is cooperating with us when we need. The shadow in our relation is always the killing of animals. To be honest again, SPCAs kill a lot of animals every year, and this is also the reason why Anima is not comfortable to strength our relations with these Societies! Please help us...
