Anima–February Rescue and Sad News (1857-Kalina)!

<16-02-2017> 1857-Kalina (F), with an estimated age of five months old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 16th February 2017, after a call from the Traffic Department reporting that a dog was hit by a motorcycle in front of Restaurant Miramar. Unfortunately Kalina passed away before we arrived. Her body was collected to Anima to be delivered to Macau kennel. R.I.P. my friend! Thanks Traffic Department! Please help us to help them! <12-02-2017> C1424-Carla (F), with an estimated age of eight months old, was rescued by Anima on 12th February 2017, after a call from Ms. Mary reporting that a cat was trapped in the terrace of a building at Rua de Francisco Xavier Pereira. Rescue and New Dog Under SPP (SPP1856-Hugo)!

<10-02-2017> SPP1856-Hugo (M), with an estimated age of two years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a dog got an open wound on the body during a fight last night in a site of Coloane. Hugo received a surgery to stitch up the wound. He was returned to his former place after the surgery. Mr. Leong is responsible for him in that area. Anima–February Rescue (C1419, C1420)!

<10-02-2017> C1419-Samson (M) and C1420-Sander (M), both with an estimated age of two years old, were rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, after a call from Ms. Koo reporting that there were three cats in the car park of Alfandega de Macau at Rua S. Tiago da Barra and the stray dogs were chasing them often. We set a trap over there and today Samson and Sander were caught. They were checked by our vet and dewormed. <05-02-2017> SPPC1416-Barry (M), with an estimated age of three months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that her friend, Mr. Daniel, found a kitten near Ponte 16 last night. Barry was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has diarrhea and upper respiratory tract infection. He is fostered temporarily by Michele as he needs medication. Thanks Michele and Mr. Daniel! Anima–Rescued and Returned to Nature (B061-Cuckoo)!

<03-02-2017> B061-Cuckoo was rescued by Anima on 3rd February 2017, after a call from our cat supervisor, Ms. Connie, reporting that a bird was found unable to fly outside the entrance of Cat’s Paradise.
