Anima–Rescue and New Dog Under SPP (SPP1833-Jenkin)!

<02-01-2017> SPP1833-Jenkin (M), with an estimated age of five years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima on 2nd January 2017, after a call from Ms. Rebecca reporting that a dog was found sick in a site of Coloane. According to Rebecca, Jenkin refused to eat for few days and he was getting skinny. Jenkin was sent to a clinic for consultation and  needs to stay there temporarily. Thanks Ms. Rebecca! <02-01-2017> SPPC1373-Greet (F), with an estimated age of eight years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 2nd January 2017, somewhere in Taipa. Greet that was found dying and has severe dehydration was sent to a clinic immediately. She is under dripping now and will have a further examination once her condition is improved. Thanks Michele! Rescue and New Dog Under SPP (SPP1830-Pousada)!

<28-12-2016> SPP1830-Pousada (F), with an estimated age of three months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 28th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Cheng reporting that a puppy accidently entered inside the cat trap that was set by us in a place of Coloane. The cat trap is for catching  stray cats over there for neutering! Pousada was checked by our vet and has no injury. She was returned to her former place after dewormed. Ms. Cheng is responsible for her in that area. Anima will support the neuter, provide food and the medical care if needed. Unfortunately we are not capable to keep all animals! Thanks Ms. Cheng! <26-12-2016> SPP1829-Borsa (F), with an estimated age of seven years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 26th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, our Board member, reporting that her friend, Ms. Hui, used to feed a dog in a site of Taipa. Borsa got injured on the leg and the hip few days ago. We helped Ms. Hui to send Borsa to a clinic as Borsa is difficult to handle. Borsa was returned to her former place after medication prescribed.
