Rescue and Temporary Accomodation (SPPC1318-Squiggle)!

<29-11-2016> SPPC1318-Squiggle (M), on the time with an estimated age of three months old, was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 24th October 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Squiggle was brought to Anima because he was slightly dehydrated and very skinny. He had upper respiratory infection and got watery discharge on both eyes. He was returned to the former place after the medication was prescribed in the same day. Today he was brought to Anima again as he was found sneezing, the mandibular lymph nodes were swollen as well. Anima–November Rescue (1819-Kit Kat)!

<28-11-2016> 1819-Kit Kat (M), with an estimated age of six days old, was rescued by Anima on 28th November 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a puppy was found in Rua de Francisco Xavier Pereira in a carton box. Anima–November Rescue and Sad News (SPP1820-Beatles)!

<28-11-2016> SPP1820-Beatles (M), with an estimated age of ten years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 28th November 2016, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a dog was hit by a truck in a site of Macau. He was limping and refused to eat since three days ago. Beatles was sent to a clinic and a x-ray showed that his bladder was broken. A surgery was performed but the damage of the bladder was too severe to fix. After discussed with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Jose de Ka-Ho. Her brother 1817-Wes was rescued in the same area on 22nd November 2016. Wessa was checked by our vet and dewormed. They are fostered by our Supervisor Zoe temporarily now. Anima–November Rescue (B056-BB)!

<23-11-2016> B056-BB was rescued by Anima on 23rd November 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that a bird was found soaking and unable to fly near Macau Polytechnic Institute. BB was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, BB is still very young and have not learnt how to fly. BB is staying in the clinic for observation now. Thanks Ms. Gina!
