Anima March rescue (1430-Helga)

1430-Helga was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that someone saw a dog being beaten by the owner and then abandoned in Rua da Perola Oriental “ La Cite”. The dog couldn’t move and was just lying in the road. No microchip was found. As it was late, 1430-Helga was sent to a clinic. An X-Rays showed her left hind leg has a fracture. Thanks Mr. Chan! Never abandon your pet! Abandoning a pet is cruelty! This is also why a law for the protection of animals is need in Macau! But the law in discussion in the Legislative Council never refers the rights of animals! Anima March rescue (1429-Eda)

1429-Eda was rescued by Anima under an agreement signed with a local restaurant in Coloane. Eda is gentle, has a collar but not a microchip. Anima February Rescue (1421-Denisa)

1421-Denisa was collected by Anima after a call from Maria João regarding a puppy  around four months old, that was found in Taipa by her son. She took the puppy home but her dog was not friendly to Denise. As we have no space the dog was proposed to be under our agreement with IACM and as so to be delivered to Coloane Kennel under Anima supervision. As all of you understand we can not always guarantee that all types of dogs can stay under this program as all decisions must always have the IACM approval and the space is also limited! We are both trying our best to save as many animals as possible but the reality is very difficult to handle. Many animals continue to be abandoned! Thanks Maria João! Never abandon your pet! C901-Boey was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Kit reporting that a cat was found injured in Rua De S. Miguel. It is the same place where we found on January 21, 2015, C881-Agustin and C882-Aidan. Aidan as all of you remember was found hanged and the brother Agustin was near him “protecting” his body and “asking” why people should be so cruel! Agustin was already adopted!
