Anima – October Rescue (1543-Abbi)!

1543-Abbi was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Lee reporting that a dog was found in Largo do São Domingos in front of a shop and was unable to move. 1543-Abbi was sent to a clinic immediately and he had no fracture. Few minutes afterwards Anima get a call from a lady telling that she is the owner of Abbi, a male dog around 7 years ago. Abbi lived with her family until some members decided to abandon him in the street without talking to her. Anima can not understand this excuse and we hope the family can take a good decision for Abbi! Please help us Adopting! If you do not help us adopting animals that live with us we are not able to save more animals abandoned in the streets! This means that sooner or later they will be killed by IACM! We have no capacity to rescue...

Anima – October Rescue and Sad News (C1044-Viti)!

C1044-Viti was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Chio at 10:30 am, reporting that Viti was found dying in the street at Estabulo de Comidas A It Tai, on Av. da Amizade (NAPE). The cat was hiding in the corner of a vase in front of the restaurant, and was too weak to walk. She was taken immediately to a clinic. Her temperature was very low. Anima – September Rescue (1535 to 1541)!

1535-Paiman, 1536-Paisley, 1537-Pal, 1538-Palmer, 1539-Paloma, 1540-Paola and 1541-Parisa, four males and three females, were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Ho, regarding seven puppies, around two weeks old, that were born in a construction site and the mother was not properly feeding them. She belongs to another construction site. Anima made an appeal to several volunteers to help feeding them and got a good response. Meanwhile for the first day we divided the puppies within our staff until we reorganize who will feed them. The mother was caught by our trap and we will try to follow-up the family in our shelter to see if she properly feed her puppies. In case we do not succeed we will feed them until we can organize the volunteers. He invokes family problems, and as begins to be a common story, the pregnancy of one family member is usually the justification. Anima – September Rescue (C1040 to C1042)!

C1040-Mekhi was rescued by Anima after a call from Mrs. Ng that brought him to Anima. C1041-Cade and C1042-Caden were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Ng telling that a kitten with umbilical cord was found on the road of Avenida Leste do Hipódromo. Anima – September Rescue (1530 to 1533)!

1530-Jerome, 1531-Jeremy, both males, 1532-Joa and 1533-Jamie, both females, all one day old, were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Zheng, regarding four puppies that were born in his house by her dog a Schnauzer this morning. She was 15 years old and it was the seventh time she got pregnant. She had no milk at all! This is irresponsibility! We are asking him to spay her female and the male, otherwise more pregnancies may come later! It was told to him very clear: for the sake of those animals we collected all of them, otherwise they will die and the fault belongs only to him! September Rescue and Adoption (1523-Tong Tong)!

1523-Tong Tong was rescued by Anima and immediately adopted by Michele. Tong Tong is seven years old male and was delivered to Anima by a mother of a pregnant lady telling she had an allergy and was pregnant. We have already informed people that keeping dogs or cats at home do not have any bad interference with any pregnancy! This is a stupid excuse that people with a minimum education should not use to abandon his pets! Anima usually does not accept these justifications. However, when we think the animals are easily adoptable we decide to receive them. Tong Tong had no license but was de-sexed.
