Anima–July Rescue (C1634-Sam Sam)!

<07-07-2017> C1634-Sam Sam (M), around 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that her friend, Ms. Hoi found a kitten in Rua de Chaves. The right ear of C1634-Sam Sam was burned off and the wound hasn’t healed yet. C1634-Sam Sam was sent to a clinic for a surgery. He is staying in the clinic under treatment now. Anima–July Rescue (C1633-Water)!

<07-07-2017> C1633-Water (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that a kitten has been crying for few days in a private empty plot of Travessa do Cais No. 23. We tried to use food to lure C1633-Water but failed. As so, we called Fire Department to help and later C1633-Water was rescued. He was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has the eyes infected. He is staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise now. Thanks Ms. Lei and Fire Department! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Rescue (C1374-Caramel II)!

<05-07-2017> C1374-Caramel II (M), with an estimated age of five years old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd January 2017, after a call from Ms. Filipa reporting that she rescued a cat 1.5 years ago in Cheoc Van but Caramel II has been wild and aggressive. She reported that he destroyed everything in her house and attacked her young daughter. He was castrated but according to her it couldn’t help to improve his behavior. Filipa realized that he was stressful in his new environment in CP and as he was sick she got him back on 22nd January 2017 and tried to help him. Today C1374-Caramel II was brought to us again as he keeps destroying everything at home. He is staying again in our Cat’s Paradise now. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Rescue (C1631-Amari)!

<05-07-2017> C1631-Amari (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 5th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Lei reporting that a kitten with eyes infection was found near the public toilet in Guia Hill. C1631-Amari was checked by our vet and dewormed. She has maggots all over her body as well. She is fostered by our Cat Supervisor Effie temporarily as she needs force feeding. Anima–July Rescue (1905-Chiwa)!

<04-07-2017> 1905-Chiwa (F), around nine years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that his neighbor found some bad smell and barking from an apartment in Taipa, since one week ago. Mr. Chan tried to find out what happened but there was no one answered the door. He also tried to contact the apartment’s owner but failed. We asked Fire Department to help and finally 1905-Chiwa was rescued. A family relative open the door and accepted to give her to us. She had no microchip at all! 1905-Chiwa had some skin problem and was dehydrated. He is staying with us now. Thanks Mr. Chan and Fire Department! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Temporary Accomodation (SPPC1540-Ocean)

<03/07/2017> SPPC1540-Ocean is now accommodated in Anima until 10th July 2017. SPPC1540-Ocean (M), on the time around five months old, was rescued by Anima on the 19th May 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa and became under our Special Protection Program (SPP). He was brought to Anima for consultation and was de-wormed and received the first vaccination. SPPC1540-Ocean was returned to his place after consultation and was under Michele responsibility. He came on 26th May 2017 again and he was staying in our Cats’ Paradise. He was adopted on 31st May 2017. If you adopt an animal from us you have the privilege to leave your animal in Anima during 15 days free of charge during the first year of adoption, provided we have space. Never abandon your pet! Anima–July Rescue and Sad News (C1629-Meicy)!

<03-07-2017> C1629-Meicy (F), around seven months old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd July 2017, after a call from Mr. Sam reporting that a cat was found inside a bag on R. Central de Toi San. Her hind legs were injured and she was shaking a lot. C1629-Meicy was sent to a clinic for further examination. According to the vet, she had seizure every five minutes even they after the sedative medication. The vet diagnosis was C1629-Meicy had neurological problem, was in deep suffer and he couldn't do better and as so he recommended the euthanasia. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Thanks Mr. Sam! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Rescue (C1625, C1626)!

<02-07-2017> C1625-Sunnie (F) and C1626-Lemon (M), both around five years old, were rescued by Anima on 2nd July 2017, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that she rescued two cats in Guia Hill one month ago when she heard there were some people poisoning the cats. She took care of them for a month and found out that she has allergy. Today she showed up with the cats in our Cat’s Paradise and asked if she could leave the cats with us. C1625-Sunnie and C1626-Lemon are staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise now. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–Fountain of Hope visited us!

<01-07-2017> Today, 63 people visited us, 10 of them were from Fountain of Hope that came to our Cat’s Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life!  More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to June 2017, Anima received 4,856 visitors, an increase of 32.2% as compared with the same period of last year. 73 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 25.9%, and we have been in 20 events organized by friends or by us, an increase of 17.6%! Anima–July Rescue (C1622, C1623)!

<01-07-2017> C1622-Berenice (F) and C1623-Barnabas (M), both around five months old, were rescued by Anima on 1st July 2017, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that two cats were kept in a cage for half an year in a restaurant of Macau. According to Ms. Leong, the owner only fed them with remaining fish bones. There were three more cats but they disappeared for long time already. Ms. Leong convinced the owner to hang over C1622-Berenice and C1623-Barnabas to her and asked our help. C1622-Berenice and C1623-Barnabas were checked by our vet and dewormed.
