Anima-July Rescue (SPPC973, SPPC1180, SPPC1244)!

<19-07-2017> SPPC973-Squeaky (F), on the time around three months old, was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 18th June 2015, after a call from Michele, reporting that SPPC973-Squeaky was abandoned in a carton box somewhere in Taipa. SPPC1180-Dada ((F), on the time around three months old, was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 29th April 2016, after a call from Michele, reporting that SPPC1180-Dada had an eye infection. SPPC1244-Jeff (M), on the time around three months old, was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 27th July 2016, after a call from Michele, reporting that SPPC1244-Jeff needed medical care. SPPC1244-Jeff was brought back to Anima again on 6th April 2017 due to gingivitis. Today all of them were brought to Anima for consultation. SPPC973-Squeaky has fever, SPPC1180-Dada was vaccinated and dewormed and SPPC1244-Jeff has gingivitis. Medication was prescribed. All of them...

Anima–Melco Crown visited us!

<18-07-2017> Today, 27 people visited us, seven of them were from Melco Crown that came to our Cat’s Paradise as volunteers!  Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life!  More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to June 2017, Anima received 4,856 visitors, an increase of 32.2% as compared with the same period of last year. 73 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 25.9%, and we have been in 20 events organized by friends or by us, an increase of 17.6%! Anima–Fountain of Hope visited us!

<18-07-2017> Today, 27 people visited us, eight of them were from Fountain of Hope that came to our Cat’s Paradise!  Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life!  More and more visitors come to Anima! Anima–July Adoption (C1634-Sam Sam)!

<18-07-2017> Sam Sam was adopted by Ms. Wong on 18th July 2017! C1634-Sam Sam (M), around 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that her friend, Ms. Hoi, found a kitten in Rua de Chaves. The right ear of C1634-Sam Sam was burned off and the wound hadn’t healed yet. C1634-Sam Sam was sent to a clinic for a surgery. He was staying in the clinic under treatment and was now adopted. Anima–July Rescue (1911-Gucci)!

<18-07-2017> 1911-Gucci (F), around ten years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Cardinal reporting that a dog was found near Casa Garden and asked our help for adoption. 1911-Gucci was found on 27th May 2017 by Mr. Cardinal and she was temporarily fostered by him,  waiting for a space in Anima. His dog couldn’t get along well with 1911-Gucci and as no one was staying now at home to look after them, we tried our best colleeting Gucci. She is very friendly! 1911-Gucci was checked by our vet and dewormed. She is staying with us now and will be socialized later with our dogs. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Sad News (597-Marley)!

<17-07-2017> 597-Marley (M), around seven years old now, was rescued by Anima on 17th October 2010, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that a dog needed our help. 597-Marley had been staying with us since that day. He was found death this morning suddenly in his pen. The autopsy report showed that he had rectal bleeding, and the cause of death could be hemorrhagic gastroenteritis or mesenteric torsion. Marley was a friendly and funny friend that can always cheer you up. We will miss you! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–July Sad News (C1638-Dylan)!

<16-07-2017> C1638-Dylan (M), on the time around one week old, was rescued by Anima on 10th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Ho reporting that a kitten was found alone in a rain drainage near Colegio de St. Rosa de Lima. Anima–July Adoption (C1524-Beta)!

<16-07-2017> Beta was adopted by Ms. Lam on 16th July 2017! C1519-Alma (F) and C1520-Allie (F), around two years and one year old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy, reporting that she took them home the night before and asked us if we could take to Anima all the cats she feeds in Guia as she found many have been poisoned there. C1512-Wifi was taken on the 3rd of May 2017! They were brought to Anima, checked by our vet and de-wormed. C1519-Alma had severe gingivitis and upper respiratory problems. She was breathing hard with yellowish nasal discharge and was dehydrated. C1520-Allie was pregnant and was delivered to Cat Paradise for quarantine. C1523-Alfa, C1524-Beta, C1525-Gamma, C1526-Delta, C1527-Omega were born by C1520-Allie on 10th May 2017! C1524-Beta has stayed with us until now. Thanks Ms. Lam! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–July Adoption (C1381-William)!

<15-07-2017> William was adopted by Mr. Hong on 15th July 2017! C1381-William (M), together with C1601-Blacky (F) and C1602-Flyer (M), all around three years old, were rescued by Anima on 18th June 2017, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that she couldn’t keep her cats anymore. C1381-William and C1382-Harry were first rescued by Anima on 13th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that she couldn’t keep her two cats temporarily. According to Ms. Mui, she used to rescue dogs in the street and had rented a place to put the dogs, but the owner got the place back so she had to put all the dogs inside her house. Her two cats couldn’t get along well with the dogs, and she had no more space to separate them. William and Harry stayed in our Cat’s Paradise temporarily. Ms. Mui visited us on 14th...
