Anima-March Temporary Accommodation (1865-Garlic)!

<16-03-2017> 1865-Garlic (F), with around five years old, was adopted by Edith Lam in IACM and is now with us in temporary accommodation! Garlic is a greyhound that was sent by Canidrome to the Macau Kennel for adoption as requested by the Authorities. Anima hopes that all greyhounds in that compound can be free instead of being killed before the concession expires at the end of 2018! We have several times asked the Macau Government to help us pressing the Canidrome to give all greyhounds to us and authorizing us to use for one year the Canidrome installations for us to be able to re-home all of them. Anima has now around 250 international adopters for greyhounds and does not have more adopters as we have not received yet any green light from either the Macau Government or the Canidrome to go ahead with our plan of saving all greyhounds! Anima – March Adoption (SPPC1254-Carrick)!

<16-03-2016> SPPC1254-Carrick was adopted on 16th March 2017 by Simon and Claire Penn. SPPC1254-Carrick (M), was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 5th August 2016, somewhere in Taipa, when he was around two months old. Carrick was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. His right eye was swollen and he has a ringworm infection over the body. He was fostered temporarily by our cat Supervisor Ms. Peng as he needed medication and observation. He was previoulsy adopted on 18th September and later returned. Now he was again adopted! Thanks Simon and Claire Penn! Please Adopt and never Buy! <16-03-2017> Today, 46 people visited us, 24 were from Tak Chun Charity Association that visited our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! She is staying in V1 (vet area room number one) and she will be socialized with other puppies in A4 (association area room number four) after quarantine. Please help us to help them! March Rescue and IACM Cooperation (C1452 to C1454)!

<10-03-2017> C1452-Kisu (F), with an estimated age of two years old, C1453-Kochi (M), with an estimated age of three years old, and C1454-Hokke (F), with an estimated age of six years old, were rescued by Anima after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all neutered and vaccinated by IACM. C1452-Kisu, C1453-Kochi and C1454-Hokke were delivered to Anima Cats’ Paradise and they stay in our free area now. Anima–Merchandise for selling and Donations received!

<08-03-2017> Dear friends, As you know we are facing a very complicated financial situation without enough funds to pay our bills, unless we reduce drastically our activities, inside our shelters and outside, which means stopping providing food and medication to a lot of animals in sites, release many of our staff and reduce drastically our rescues and support to poor members of our community.
