Anima–November Rescue (C1338-Silk)!

<15-11-2016> C1338-Silk (F), with an estimated age of two months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th November 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that her friend Mr. Chris found a kitten with an eye and nasal discharge in Central Park. Silk was checked by our vet and dewormed. She is staying with us now. Thanks Ms. Gina and Mr. Chris! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–November Rescue (C1336-Monie)!

<14-11-2016> C1336-Monie (F), with an estimated age of four years old, was rescued by Anima on 14th November 2016, around 7pm, after a call from Ms. Leong, reporting that an injured cat was found in Av. do Hipódromo and she was limping. Monie was sent to a clinic immediately and did an x-rays. Report showed that she is pregnant and she has a fracture on her right front leg. A wound was found on her chin as well and a surgery has performed to close it up. Monie is staying in the clinic for observation now. Thanks Ms. Leong! Please help us to help them! Anima–November Foster (C355-Salsa)!

<13-11-2016> C355-Salsa (F), with an estimated age of four years old now, was rescued by Anima on 9th June 2012, after a call from Ms. Lau reporting that she heard some cats meowing in a car park near Fortuna Hotel. Four kittens, C355-Salsa, C356-Twain, C357-Oregon and C358- Paprika were found inside a car engine and they were all brought to Anima. Salsa was fostered by Mr. Jefferson today. Thanks Mr. Jefferson! Anima–Sheng Kung Hui Youth Service Visited Us!

<13-11-2016> Today, 52 people visited us, 15 of them were from Sheng Kung Hui Youth Service! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! Anima- We have been in the Charity Auction of Paintings!

<12-11-2016> Anima was invited to the “Charity Fundraising Auction of The Paintings of Dogs and Cats” organized by the artists Ms. Ann Chan and Ms. Sammie Chiang on 12 November 2016 (Saturday) at 8pm at Areia Preta Centro Polytex Building. The artists contributed their paintings of dogs and cats for auction. The total amount from the auction will be donated to ANIMA. We supported the event with our President and our Assistant to the Board, Mrs. Shirley, six  staff and two volunteers, Catherine and Diana Silva, also our Board member. Anima–November Rescue (C1329, C1330)!

<10-11-2016> C1329-Sheldon (M) and C1330-Shelko (M), both with an estimated age of four months old, were rescued by Anima on 10th November 2016, after a call from Ms. Hao reporting that there were a cat mother with two kittens needed help in Rua 1 de Maio. According to Ms. Hao, the mother gave birth few times already. Today her kittens Sheldon and Shelko were caught. We will try to set a trap to catch the month later as she is difficult to approach. Sheldon and Shelko were sneezing, they have an eye infection and nose discharge as well. They were dewormed and under medication now. Thanks Ms. Hao! Please help us to help them! Kiko Adopt In Coloane Kennel

Anima – Cooperation with IACM (833-Blair)!

<08/11/2016> 832-Serina (F) and 833-Blair (F), together with 831-Sakura, 834-Anny, 835-Dina, 836-Bali, 837-Don and 838-Benson were rescued by Anima on 22nd June 2012, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that there were eight puppies in the airport that needed our help. Serina and Blair were adopted on 15th July 2012. However, Serina was returned to Anima on 4th July 2013 and the excuse of the adopter was that he couldn’t take care of two dogs. Blair was abandoned in Macau Kennel on 6th October 2016. We tried to understand the reason, but the adopter was rude telling us that this was not our business. He was wrong! He didn’t read the adoption form properly! Blair has been staying in Macau Kennel for spay. She was transferred to Coloane Kennel for adoption today. Blair is under Anima staff management. All animals in Coloane Kennel have play times as this is a principle in Anima. No animal...

Anima–November Adoption (1774-Sea)!

<07-11-2016> Sea was adopted by Ms.  Jesus on 7th November 2016! 1773-Sky (M), together with 1774-Sea (M), both were rescued by Anima with an estimated age of 2.5 months old, on 18th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Lai reporting that two puppies were found getting soaked underbrush outside Kiang Wu Hospital. They were collected to Anima and checked by our vet. This is a kind of situation that forces Anima to find solutions in our crowded space! Sea has stayed with us until now. Thanks Ms. Jesus!
