December Adoption Days at Grand Coloane Resort!

<30-11-2016> Anima has a joint event with the Grand Coloane Resort (Christmas Village) and our Adoption Days will be located inside the Resort this December! We invite all of you to join our Adoption Days on 11 Dec, 18 Dec and 25 Dec 2016! During our Adoption Days, we will have family and kids fun zone, international food and beverage booths, live performances, pets adoption corner and festival art jamming inside the hotel area. Anima-November Sad News (R029-Panda)!

<30-11-2016> R029-Panda (M), on the time with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that a rabbit was abandoned in Triângulo dos Amigos do Jardim inside a cage. Panda was sent to a clinic as he was crooked in one side and he was not able to move. His left ear had infection and the left eye had dacryocystitis. He had been staying in the clinic for treatment until yesterday. The bone of his neck had deformed and he would stay crooked forever. He couldn’t stand and walk properly. He was suffering and had poor life quality. He was even not capable to eat by himself! After discussed with our vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Anima–November Adoption (1610-Reeve)!

<30-11-2016> Reeve was adopted by Ms. Celeste on 30th November 2016! 1609-Reed (M) and 1610-Reeve (M), on the time both with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 21st December 2015, after a call from Ms. Julie and Mr. Lee reporting that two puppies were found on a road in Cotai. Anima-November Sad News (C1029-Vita)!

<30-11-2016> C1029-Vita (F), with an estimated age of five years old now, was rescued by Anima on 8th September 2015, after a call from Ms. Cheang reporting that she found an injured cat in an underbrush near the border gate. Vita’s leg seemed crushed by a car. She was sent directly to a clinic. She had recovered and had been staying with us since that. Today Vita’s body temperature was found very low that we even couldn’t read it. She was dehydrated and her breathing was weak. Unfortunately she passed away this afternoon due to renal failure. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! <29-11-2016> B058-Twin was rescued by Anima on 25th November 2016, after a call from Ms. Valeria reporting that a bird was found unable to fly in the park of The Residencia. Twin was sent to a clinic and stayed in the clinic for observation until now. Twin has recovered and was released today! Fly free my friends! Anima–Cat Under SPP Returned (SPPC1323-Tissy)!

<29-11-2016> Tissy was released on 29th November 2016! SPPC1323-Tissy (M), on the time with an estimated age of 15 years old, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 5th November 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Tissy was checked by our vet and dewormed. He had upper respiratory tract infection, gingivitis, stomatitis, conjunctivitis and lump. He stayed with us temporarily for treatment. He has recovered and returned to his former place today. Michele is responsible for him in that area. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet! Rescue and Temporary Accomodation (SPPC1324-1327)!

<29-11-2016> The mother, SPPC1324-Polly (F), on the time with an estimated age of three years old, together with her kittens, SPPC1325-Becky (F), SPPC1326-Sawyer (M) and SPPC1327-Huck (M), on the time all with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 7th November 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Polly had upper respiratory infection and the breathing was not clear. Becky, Sawyer and Huck had eye discharge and inflammation. They were returned to their former place after dewormed and medication prescribed in the same day. Today they were brought to Anima again. Polly is staying with us to be spayed. Services provided to our community (C1316, C1317)!

<29-11-2016> Anima helped Ms. Ines to deliver her cats C1316-Cupid and C1317-Moon to Macau Kennel for blood test as she is not in Macau. A fee is collected to help the financing of our activities. Some community members that cannot afford do no pay at all. Anima members are exempt! To be a member of Anima you just need to pay an annual fee of MOP 360 if you are an adult or MOP 120 if you are a juvenile! Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pet! Anima–November Return to Family (SPP1666-Tiko)!

<28-11-2016> SPP1666-Tiko was returned to the family after accommodating in Anima for six days, since 22nd November 2016. Tiko was adopted by Ms. Emma on 22nd November 2016! See how he was when rescued, how he grew and how beautiful and happy Tiko is now with the new family! Tiko was a stray animal under our Special Protection Program (SPP) living in a site! This is a good example of care! SPP1666-Tiko (M) was rescued by Anima in Coloane on 14th March 2016 as he was found breathing hard and vomiting. He was sent to a clinic for consultation immediately and he had to stay overnight there for observation. The first vet opinion shown he needed a surgery but could only do it after few days and he had possibilities of survive. A second vet opinion from other clinic referred that the success of a surgery was very limited and serious danger might occur...
