Anima–October Adoption (C1290-Roller)!

<22-10-2016> Roller was adopted by Mr. Kuok on 22nd October 2016! C1290-Roller (M), on the time one month old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd September 2016, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a kitten was found in Rua do Cunha. Roller was collected to Anima and checked by our vet. He got a reddish eye lid, and had fungal and fleas infection as well. He was fostered by our Treasurer Ms. Connie temporarily as he needed a closed observation. Roller has stayed with us until now. Thanks Mr. Kuok! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–Rescue and Return (SPPC1286, SPPC1287)!

<20-10-2016> SPPC1286-Tai Mui (F) and SPPC1287-Sai Mui (F), on the time both six months old, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and were rescued by Anima through Ms. Rella on 23rd September 2016. They live somewhere in Macau. Today they were sent to a clinic for spay. They were returned to their former place after surgery. Ms. Rella is responsible for them in that area. Anima will support with food and medical care if needed. Thanks Ms. Rella! Please help us to help them! Please don’t be cruel to pets! Anima–UMAC Stanley Ho East Asia College Visited Us!

<19-10-2016> Today, 16 people visited us, 12 of them were from UMAC Stanley Ho East Asia College! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! Anima–Adoption Day in Lok Yeong Fa Yuen!

<16-10-2016> Beginning from February 2016, Anima is holding two adoption days outside Anima on the second and last Sunday of every month. Around 40 people have visited us today at Lok Yeong Fa Yuen! We were supported by seven volunteers, Joyce, Joe, Kevin, Diana, Grace, Carrie and Jasmine and we took six of our dogs. Today in the adoption day, we received one godparent application! Anima–SPP Return (SPP1407-B Zhai)!

<16-10-2016> B Zhai was released on 16th October 2016! SPP1407-B Zhai (M), three years old, was under our Special Protection Program since 7th February 2015! He lives in a site somewhere in Taipa. We were informed by a volunteer on 16th September 2016 that B Zhai got hurt on his back by hot water two weeks ago. B Zhai was brought to Anima for treatment immediately. He has recovered and returned to his former place today. Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet! Anima–Temporary Accommodation (1721-Konya)!

<16-10-2016> See Konya now and when she was adopted! 1721-Konya (F) is now accommodated in Anima for 10 days until 26th October. SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), on the time around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng informing that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. An ultrasound showed that the fetus were already approx. seven weeks old. So we have decided to keep the future puppies! 1721-Konya together with 1718-Kimon, 1719-Kennis, 1720-Kuni, 1722-Kassie, 1723-Komie, 1724-Kolm, 1725-Kulee and 1726-Kerin were born on 11th May 2016. Konya was adopted by Mr. John Roy on 25th August 2016. Thanks Mr. John Roy and wife! Please Adopt and never buy! Anima–Adoption (C1251, C1252)!

<16-10-2016> Ferris and Fonda were adopted by Ms. Shum on 16th October 2016! C1250-Fazil (M), on the time one month old, C1251-Ferris (M) and C1252-Fonda (F), on the time both around ten days old, were rescued by Anima on 4th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Wai reporting that three kittens were found in Rua (street) de Tin Chon without their mother beside. They were checked by our vet and fostered by our Supervisor Zoe as they needed milk feeding. Fonda was adopted on 8th October 2016. However she was returned in the next day as the adopter has invoked she was not well! Ferris and Fonda stayed with us until now. Thanks Ms. Shum! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–Rescue (C1310-Polytec)!

<14-10-2016> C1310-Polytec (M), four months old, was rescued by Anima on 14th October 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a kitten was rescued by her near the bus stop of Edf. Va Pou Garden yesterday. Polytec was shaking and soaking,  refused to eat and has discharge on his eyes. Ms. Chan didn’t know how to take care of him and asked our help. Polytec was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has difficulty in breathing, and shows pain when we touch his chest. He was  sent to a clinic for an x-ray and further examination. He has severe pneumonia and needs to stay overnight there. Thanks Ms. Chan! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! <13-10-2016> SPP1807-Lucky (M), one year old, was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 7th October 2016, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a dog was getting slim and had an eye problem in a site somewhere in Coloane. Lucky was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. He was returned to his former place after the medication was prescribed. Today he was sent to a clinic because he has a glaucoma in his right eye. He was returned to his former place after consultation. Mr. Leong is responsible for him in that area and we will also keep an eye on him as he continues too slim! Thanks Mr. Leong! Anima–Rescue and Sad News (C1309-Weavy)!

<13-10-2016> C1309-Weavy (F), eight months old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 13th October 2016, after a call from Gina reporting that a cat body was found in Av. do Conselheiro Borja. The body was destroyed. Weavy may have been caught  by a car. We collected the body and it will be delivered to Macau kennel. R.I.P. my friend! Thanks Gina! Please help us to help them!
