Anima – February Adoption (1569-Macchi)!

1569-Macchi was born with 1566-Cappu, 1567-Latte, 1568-Bica, 1570-Mokka and 1571-Presso by 1548-Katie on 28th October 2015. Katie was pregnant and rescued by Anima on 14th October 2015, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that Katie was living in a construction site that will begin to be redeveloped. Anima – February 28th Adoption Day in Flower City!

Beginning in February 2016, Anima will hold two adoption days outside of Anima on the second and last Sunday of every month. Around 241 people have visited us at Flower City in Taipa today! We were supported by 11 volunteers, Lily, Carmen, Kris, Diana, Christian, Cherry, Martha, Iris, Wengin, Carmanda and Cristy, and we took eight of our dogs. Today in the adoption day, we received 14 volunteer applications, three godparent applications, two member applications and two adoption forms! Thank you all for your big support! Anima – February Return and Relocation (T007-Ulla)!

T007-Ulla was returned from the foster family and relocated in a friendly association today. T007-Ulla was rescued by Anima on 13th December 2015, after a call from Ms. Mr. Frank, from a casino site, reporting that T007-Ulla was found by a visitor, Mr. Wang, outside the casino. According to Ms. Wang, the turtle was hit by a motorcycle and she was injured. T007-Ulla was fostered since 12th February 2016. As we have an agreement with a friendly association, they received Ulla. Ulla is living there with other turtles. Thanks! Please help us to help them! Anima – Escola Santa Rosa De Lima has visited us!

Today 40 people visited us, 16 were students from Escola Santa Rosa De Lima (English Section)! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! 61 groups of schools, associations and companies have visited us in 2015! In January of 2016, the total number of visitors increased by 12% and the total number of groups increased by 80% comparing with last year! Anima – February SPP Dog Return (SPP1619-Hilda)!

Hilda before the rescue and now after return! SPP1619-Hilda was rescued by Anima on 4th January 2016 for a de-sex surgery. She was found having high temperature (40.2C) and many ticks on her body. She recovered from tick fever and she was spayed on 25th January 2016. Hilda was returned to the site today and our rescue team is responsible for her in the area. Please help us to help them! Rescue and New SPP Cats (SPPC1132 and SPPC1133)!

SPPC1132-Steve and SPPC1133-Magoo, around eight months old, now under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that Steve and Magoo live somewhere in Taipa under Michele’s responsibility. Anima provided both of them the de-sex surgeries today. Steve and Magoo were returned to the site after the surgeries in good health condition. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! February SPP Cat Return (SPPC925-Skipper)!

SPPC925-Skipper was rescued by Anima on 12th February 2016 after a call from Michele reporting that Skipper was vomiting somewhere in Taipa. Skipper was accommodated in Anima for 11 days. Anima – February Return to Family (SPPC1051-Larrisa)!

SPPC1051-Larrisa was rescued by Anima on 13th October 2015, after a call from Michelle reporting that he was found somewhere in Taipa. Larrisa had high fever with sneezing and the eyes were infected! Larrisa came back temporarily to Anima on 11th November 2015 because of the same problems after her adoption by Mr. Mak on 28th October 2015! Larrisa is recovered but she still needs medication due to sneezing. Larrisa was returned to Mr. Mak as he will give her medication and bring her back for rechecks. Thanks Mr. Mak and family! 1655-Buffalo, a one year old dog, was rescued by Anima on 6th February 2016 after a call from Mr. Pedro reporting that 1655-Buffalo was found in St. Francis Xavier's Street and his left hind leg was injured. 1655-Buffalo was now adopted by Mr. Pinto.
