Anima–August event with IAM!

<06-08-2022> Today we have joined the “Seja um dono responsável - Cuide do seu animal de estimação para sempre” event held by IAM, at Zona de Lazer da Rua da Pareia Oriental, Macau.  Around 60 people joined, including our doggies 849-Fei Jai、1204-Maxi、 2302-Siu Baak and 2405-A-Mui. Thanks for the invitation from IAM, volunteers and everyone who has participated in the event. The next venue will be at Jardim da Flora, Macau on 03Sept 2022 from 14:00~17:00. Anima–August Rescue (2460, 2461)!

<03-08-2022> 2460-Cupid (F) and the sibling, 2461-Cypress (M), both around three months old, are now under our SPP program and they were rescued by Anima on 3rd August 2022, from Marble Factory Area. They are under the responsibility of Mr. Fai in their place. 2460-Cupid was sent to the clinic due to a lump on the chest. Cypress was very dirty, and he had to take a shower. <29-07-2022> C2719-Lena (F), gave birth to four kittens, C2732-Lydia (F), C2733-Leo (M), C2734-Lady (F) and C2735-Leela, today. Anima–July Rescue (C2730, C2731)!

<22-07-2022> C2730-Carbonel (M), around five years old and C2731-Cleo (F), around 10 years old, were rescued by Anima on 22nd July 2022, from IAM as they have no space. C2730-Carbonel received his microchip, vaccination and rabies vaccine on 15th June 2022. C2731-Cleo received her microchip, vaccination and rabies vaccine on 29th June 2022. Anima–July Rescue (2456,2457,2458, 2459)!

<12-07-2022> After the rescue of 2454 Neomycin yesterday, we rescued four more puppies from the same site this evening. We received call from a security guard of the IAM Cemetery that they found some more injured puppies so he looked for our help. Upon arrival, our rescue team found four puppies , 2456-Tanyyuan，2457-Putchaiko ，2458-Naiwongbao and 2459-Xiaolongbao. The mother dog was not around and three of the puppies got wounds on their bodies. We sent them to the vet clinic immediately. According to the vet, there were maggots in the wounds, and it was especially worst for 2456-Tanyyuan, as its tail has been seriously injured. Anima–July Rescue (2455-Neomycin)!

<11-07-2022> 2455-Neomycin (F), around two weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 11th July 2022, after a call from a guard reporting that there was an injured puppy in the (IAM) cemetery of Caminho de Tan Fong since yesterday afternoon. Rescue team saw seven puppies were sleeping under some bushes. No one was injured and their mother was nearby barking us. In the afternoon rescue team went there again to check the puppies, the mother ran out from other bushes and it was found an 8th puppy, 2455-Neomycin, lying there with many flies around her back with a big and deep wound. She was sent to a clinic immediately. According to the vet, the wound already had maggots and it needed to be cleaned daily. 2455-Neomycin stayed hospitalized and she will be welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter, after recover. Anima–July Rescue (C2725-Bubbas)!

<07-07-2022> C2725-Bubbas (F), around one and a half month old, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2022, after our president Miss Zoe found the kitten in an abandon field in Rua de Kun Iam Tong. Bubbas was full of nasal discharge and she was very week. Rescue team collected the kitten and sent to a clinic. C2725-Bubbas was put under fluids during her treatment. According to the vet, she is willing to eat by herself and was trying to stand on her own later. Bubbas will stay in clinic under veterinary observation. Anima–July Rescue (C2723-Yoi)!

<04-07-2022> C2723-Yoi (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 4th July 2022, after a call from Ms. Ching referring that there was a kitten stuck on rat glue, at 6th floor of Edf. Industrial Chong Fong and he was meowing all morning. Ms. Ching tried to help by removing the glue, but failed. Our Rescue team went to pick up the kitten and sent him directly to a vet clinic for consultation. C2723-Yoi had the glue removed there. He was dehydrated and had low body temperature. Blood tests showed anemia and inflammation. He will stay hospitalized, under veterinary observation. After recover, C2723-Yoi will be welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Ching! Anima-Melco Resorts and Entertainment helped us!

<17-06-2022> Today, we were visited by 15 people, of which 10 were from Melco Resorts and Entertainment. This group gave us a precious help volunteering at our Cats’ Paradise.
