Anima – September Adoption Day!

Anima has an adoption day outside Anima on the last Sunday of every month. Around 30 people have visited! Anima was supported in this event by five volunteers and we took seven of our dogs. Anima – September Rescue (1534-Sibala)!

1534-Sibala was rescued by Anima even if we disagree with who brought him to us. He invokes family problems, and as begins to be a common story, the pregnancy of one family member is usually the justification. Sibala, is a Dachshund breed, male, five years old, de-sexed, licensed, with vaccines in proper order! He was just abandoned in Anima! Never abandon your pet! Anima – September Rescue (C1040 to C1042)!

C1040-Mekhi was rescued by Anima after a call from Mrs. Ng that brought him to Anima. C1041-Cade and C1042-Caden were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Ng telling that a kitten with umbilical cord was found on the road of Avenida Leste do Hipódromo. Another kitten was also found with umbilical cord nearby. No mother was around! They are being feed by Ronaldo, our cat’s handler! Thanks Mrs. Ng and Mr. Ng! Thanks Ronaldo! Please be responsible! Anima – September Adoption (1513-Achilles)!

1513-Achilles was rescued by Anima on 8th September 2015, as he had very good capabilities to be adopted. The owner had a car accident and had to go back immediately to the States and could not take him by the reasons we have already disclosed. However the family paid one month accommodation in Anima in order for us to find a new family for him. Achilles is a Bichon Frise, male, born on 20/12/2013 and he is very afraid to stay with other dogs as he had already a traumatic experience of being seriously beaten by other dogs in the past. He is licensed and all vaccines are in proper order. He was now adopted by Ms. Ho and lives very happy in his new home ! Thanks Ms. Ho! Please adopt, never buy! Anima – Sheng Kung Hui Saint Stephen’s Church had visited us!

Today 38 people visited us, 11 from Sheng Kung Hui Saint Stephen’s Church! More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511 visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! In 2015, up to the end of August, we had 3,806 visitors an increase of 5.9% as compared with 3,593 in the same period of 2014! 42 groups of schools, associations and companies have visited us! Anima – Abandoned in Macau Kennel (1252-Bentley)!

1252-Bentley was adopted on 18th July 2015! Bentley is a husky, found at Rua da Praia do Manduco on June 21, 2014, with no microchip. He was now abandoned in the Macau kennel by the owner without informing us! He will stay in the Macau Kennel for a while until we have a space for him in Anima! Please Adopt him! Help us to help him! Anima – September SPP1467-Brandon returned!

SPP1467-Brandon was rescued by Anima on 20th May 2015, after a call from Ms. Wu reporting that Brandon was hit by a car few days ago. As he can not afford to pay the vet bill, Anima helped. He was sent to a clinic for surgery and the cost was around 10,000 patacas, fully paid by Anima. He stayed in Anima up to now and was already capable to come back. We are sorry not to keep him but without space we can not save others also in danger! We will miss him as he is a gentle dog! Please Adopt! Never Buy! Anima – September Temporary Accommodation (1432-Meeny)!

See Meeny (Angkor) now and when he was rescued! 1432-Meeny was rescued by Anima on March 13, 2015 together with 1431-Eeny, 1433-Miny and 1434-Moe, two males and two females, after a call from Mr. Tse, regarding 7 (seven) puppies that were born in a construction site somewhere in Macau. Three of them were taken by adopters and the mother disappeared. The remaining came to Anima. Meeny, now Angkor, one of the puppies, was adopted by Joel on 28th July 2015 and is now with us for 12 days! Please Adopt and never buy! Never abandon your pet! Abandoning a pet is cruelty! Anima – September Rescue (1524 to 1529)!

1524-Paxton, 1525-Payton, 1526-Parker, 1527-Paulette, 1528-Paulina and 1529-Pauline were rescued by Anima in Coloane after a call from Mr. Edgar. They were alone and no mother was found at the place.
