Anima–January Rescue (C2497-Vava)!

C2497-Vava (F), a kitten around seven months old, was rescued by Anima on 30th January 2021, following a call from Ms. Luk reporting to have found an injured cat in Calçada do Monte. Our Rescue team was mobilized and Vava was immediately sent to a clinic. X-ray results revealed a mandibular symphyseal fracture. The most frequent causes of mandibular fractures are road traffic accidents or falls from heights. A surgery is required and was already scheduled.
Vava is very gentle, has a clean coat and no fleas, so we suspect that she may have an owner.
She will stay hospitalized and under close observation.
