July Rescue and Sad News (B157, B158, B159)!

B157-Miki (F), was rescued by Anima on 23rd July 2020, after being reported by our staff that a common dove, B156-Miki, was found injured inside our shelter, at the same place where her two babies, B158-Milo and B159-Mila, were found dead in their nest.
B157-Miki was sent to a clinic.
Miki had a very big fracture on her leg, an infected wound unable to heal on its own and she was suffering.
After discussing with the vet, and approved by two Anima board members, she was euthanized in no pain conditions.
The last decision belongs to the President of Anima and it is always very hard to make it!
