Anima–July Sad News (C1541-Haku)!

C1541-Haku (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on the 20th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Luk, informing that a cat, C1541-Haku, entered in his working area at Edifício Industrial Chong Fong.
He asked us to help as the cat had many fleas.
Our rescue team set up a cat trap there and C1541-Haku was caught.
C1541-Haku was checked by our vet and de-wormed.
C1541-Haku was transferred to our vet area since 14th July as he was coughing a lot.
He had been under medication since that.
C1541-Haku had upper respiratory infection and corona virus.
He began to enter in suffer due to fluid inside his abdomen, not eating and coughing while lying down!
After discussion with the vet and approval of two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision!
R.I.P. my friend!
