Anima-October Rescue (SPP2405-A-Mui)!

SPP2405-A-Mui (F), a dog around seven years old, is registered in our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 18th September, 2021. She’s living under Mrs. So’s responsibility in a site at Hac-Sa, Coloane.
This morning, we were informed by Ms. So that A-Mui has a puncture infected wound near her left ear, possibly due to a dog bite. A-Mui was immediately rescued by our team and sent to a clinic. She will stay hospitalized for a few days and will be safely returned to the original site after being discharged.
Through our SPP Program, we have been extending our support to a broad number of animals living out of our shelters, under the responsibility of volunteers. This was solution found years ago to overcome the problem of overcrowding in our shelters.
