Anima–October Sad News (C2638-Basia)!

C2637-Bess and C2638-Basia, both females around one month old, plus C2639-Barton, a male around four months old, were rescued by Anima on 5th October 2021, with the help of the fire department.
After a call from Mr. Jorge reporting that he saw a black kitten fell from the height and hit on the ground in an abandoned house in Tv. da Praia Grande, the kitten seems not moving well and he was weak after falling.
He asked us help.
As this is a private property, Anima asked for cooperation to other responsible security entities.
The three kittens were rescued with the help of Fire Department and IAM.
C2637-Bess, C2638-Basia and C2639-Barton were rescued, and they were sent to a clinic where they became hospitalized.
C2638-Basia passed away today, in the afternoon.
According to a vet, her cause of death was having a severe diarrhea and malnutrition, even being under medical care and fluids every day.
