Anima–April Adoption (C2115-Reanu)!

<03-04-2020> Reanu was adopted by Ms. Wai, today! C2114-Raina (F), around one year old and C2115-Reanu (M), around two months old by the time, were rescued on 9th May 2019, after a call from Ms. Wong saying she was able to catch the mother cat, Raina and one of her kittens. All were welcome in our Cats’Paradise! Reanu was adopted today by Ms. Wai! Thanks, Ms. Wai! Please, Adopt and never Buy! Anima–April Rescued (C1923-Stella)!

<03-04-2020> C1923-Stella (F), around 4 years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th July 2018, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. Today we received a call from Ms. Ip informing that one of the cats she is feeding for 2 years ago refuse to eat and drink. She asked our help. Our rescue team went to her place, scanned the microchip and confirm that the cat belongs to the ones who had scape before from ANIMA. Anima–April Sad News (558-Chi Ma)!

<03-04-2020> 558-Chi Ma (M), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd March 2012 and has been with us until now. Recently, he was found bleeding from his nose. After a blood test and an X-ray, the results showed that Chi Ma has a very high infection due to an inflammation inside of his nose. 558-Chi Ma was sent to a clinic for further examination. Results revealed that his right nasal cavity and the paranasal sinuses has malignant tumors. According to the vet, surgery is not recommended due to the invasiveness of the surgery, unpleasant recovery period and might have a fast reoccurrence of tumor burden. Chi Ma was suffering from Cancer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made the sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is never an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please...

Anima–April Rescued (2252-Kellie)!

<02-04-2020> 2252-Kellie (F), around 3 years old and without microchip, was rescued by Anima on 2nd March 2020, after our staff Mr. Ronel found her tied outside ANIMA’s basement play area. Kellie has a fat tissue lump on abdomen near right thigh. We might find who abandoned her through our surveillance cameras. 2252-Kellie was consulted and stays in ANIMA. Thanks, Mr. Ronel! Anima–April Sad News (354-Nana)!

<02-04-2020> 354-Nana (F), around nine years old now, was rescued by Anima on 11th November 2011 and has been with us until now. Recently, she was found having watery diarrhea and refusing to eat. Blood test results showed that she has an infection and kidney problems. Nana was not getting better and she was sent to a Clinic for further examination. According to the vet team, she had also dilated cardiomyopathy which was severe heart problem resulting in abdominal fluid with blood and could compromise her recovering. 354-Nana passed away today in the clinic due to a heart failure. Anima–April Rescued (SPP2163-Kai)!

<02-04-2020> SPP2163-Kai (M), about one year and eight months old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd April 2020 and was under our Special Protection Program (PPE) in a Ka Ho workshop. Today, our rescue team transported SPP2163-Kai immediately to a clinic, after a call from Ms. Tam reporting that there was a fight between the dogs there. According to the veterinarian, SPP2163-Kai had multiple wounds all over his body, requiring 20 stitches to close them. SPP2163-Kai returned to his place after this small operation and is under the supervision of anima members, as well as those responsible for their treatment. Thanks, Ms. Tam! Anima–March Rescued (C2308-Jadey)!

<26-03-2020> C2308-Jadey (M), around two weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 26th March 2020, after we received a Facebook message from Ms. Chiang reporting that she saw motorbikes dodging something in the middle of the street last night. It was a small kitten which she picked up and brought to her home. She asked us to help. The kitten C2308-Jadey was collected by our rescue team, clinically observed and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. C2308-Jadey is now temporarily fostered by our staff member Mandy. Anima – August Rescue (2145- Ball Ball)!

<03-09-2019> 2145- Ball Ball (F), around 15 years old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Zheang reporting that he found a dog wandering around alone but was friendly. When he was rescued, our team scan his microchip and brought him to our shelter.
