Anima-November Sad News (SPPC1431-Jaxson)!

<10-11-2020> SPPC1431-Jaxson (M), eight years and four months old by the time, was under our Special Protection Program and he was rescued by Anima through Michele on 24th February 2017, somewhere in Taipa when he was around five years old. SPPC1431-Jaxson was adopted by Mr. Froseth on 6th July 2020. Mr. Froseth intended to go back to Norway and he wanted to bring SPPC1431-Jaxson with him. Unfortunately, Jaxson became weak with kidney problems and died today. Please accept our condolences, Mr. Froseth! R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–November Rescue and Sad News (B178-Kirby)!

<10-11-2020> B178-Kirby, an adult dove, was rescued by Anima today, after being found by our rescue team on their way to deliver dog food to Ka Ho workshop. The dove was lying on the road with feathers scattered around surrounded by many dogs. B178-Kirby had a very weak breath and died quickly. His body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–November Rescue (C2423-Cloudy)!

<06-11-2020> C2423-Cloudy (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 6th November 2020. After we received a facebook message from Ms. Ng referring that her mother saw C2423-Cloudy, a kitten suspect to run over by a car near Marine and Water Bureau. The kitten was bleeding from his nose and eye. Her mother picked up the kitten and brought him back home. They ask us for help. Ms. Ng has two cats already and have no conditions to keep him. Our Rescue Team went there and picked up Cloudy directly to a clinic. According to the X-ray results, everything seems to be fine. Only his health condition should be followed up on the next two days as he was dehydrated. C2423-Cloudy was welcome to Cats’ Paradise and stay now under quarantine. Thanks, Ms. Ng! <06-11-2020> H031-Apple (F) and H032-Cherry (M), around three months old, H033-Blue Berry (F), H034-Cranberry (M), H035-Raspberry (F), H036-Lychee (F), H037-Plum (F), H038-Strawberry (F), all around one month old, were rescued by ANIMA on the 30th January 2020, after received a message from Facebook on 27th January, by a 12 years old youngster, Keiji Kester Go Celestina telling that he can’t take care of his 28 hamsters anymore because they breed a lot and they are always fighting. He does not have enough money to buy food for them as well. He asked us to help. We collected them all and they were welcome in our Dog’s Shelter! Anima-November Sad News (151-Raji)!

<05-11-2020> 151-Raji (M), a senior dog of our shelter with around 15 years old, was suffering from a splenic tumour and kidney problems. A safe surgery would be, unfortunately, hard to accomplish at this point, due to his age and weak health condition. The chances of recovery after surgery are also very low. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Raji was euthanized in a clinic, an effort to shorten his agony. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-November Adoption (C2391, C2393)!

<05-11-2020> Nilah and Nicolette were adopted today by Mr. Weng! C2391-Nilah (F), C2392-Nayomi (F), C2393-Nicolette (F), C2394-Nelly (M), all around two weeks old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 14th September 2020, after a call from Ms. Carla reporting that she heard kittens meowing very loud from the abandoned house next to her workplace at Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro. Our Rescue Team went to the place where a worker already had rescued the kittens and put them waiting in a cartoon box. All the kittens were welcome to our Cats' Paradise and they were temporarily fostered by our supervisor, Ms. Mandy, for milk feeding. Nilah and Nicolette were adopted today by Mr. Weng!
