151-Raji (M), a senior dog of our shelter with around 15 years old, was suffering from a splenic tumour and kidney problems.
A safe surgery would be, unfortunately, hard to accomplish at this point, due to his age and weak health condition.
The chances of recovery after surgery are also very low.
Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Raji was euthanized in a clinic, an effort to shorten his agony.
