Anima in Mildred and Nicholas’s Wedding!

<22-12-2017> A couple Mildred and Nicholas will have their wedding on 13th January 2018. They donated MOP 2,500.00 to Anima. Grand Coloane Resort Christmas Village and adoption day!

<21-12-2017> Anima will have a joint event with the Grand Coloane Resort “Christmas Village” and  an Adoption Day! We invite all of you to join Gingerbread Man and friends at the annual Christmas Village at Grand Coloane, where guests will enjoy more than 30 booths featuring kids' arts and crafts, Christmas games, Christmas cookie baking classes. Anima–Return to her home (SPP1485-Hac Mui)!

<23-12-2017> SPP1485-Hac Mui (F), was rescued by Anima on 27th June 2015, after a call from the staff of a friendly association asking us to help Hac Mui as a lump was found hanging from her stomach. She was sent to a clinic immediately for surgery. She was under our Special Protection Program since that day. On 2nd September 2016, we were informed that the appetite of Hac Mui was not good, she was vomiting and there was pus coming out from her vulva as well. Hac Mui was sent to a clinic. She had a pyometra. She was submitted to a surgery to remove the uterus and ovaries and stayed in the clinic for few days. She was returned to her former place on 4th September 2016. Anima–Return to her home (SPP1406-Money)!

<23-12-2017> SPP1406-Money (F), under our Special Protection Program since 7th February 2015, when she was around 4.5 years old, lives in a friendly association, somewhere in Coloane. We were informed that SPP1406-Money was sick on 7th December. Blood test showed that SPP1406-Money has parasitic infections and she might also have kidney problems. She was sent to a clinic for second opinion. SPP1406-Money has skin problem, heart problem and little fluid in her lung. She stayed in the clinic for treatment since then. She got better and is returning to her place. We will keep an eye on her every day. Please help us to help them! If you want us to help them, you must help us adopting or fostering! Anima-December Return to Family (1952-Wu Choi III)!

<23-12-2017> 1952-Wu Choi III has finished his accommodation at Anima for four days and returns home now! This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima does not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! Be our member! Be part of our team! Never abandon your pet! Anima–December Sad News (C963-Wilma)!

<23-12-2017> C963-Wilma (F), was rescued by Anima on 6th June 2015, after a call from Mr. Lai reporting that a cat entered in his building at Rua de Camilo Pessanha and was not able to walk properly. C963-Wilma was taken immediately to a clinic for an X-Rays and she stayed there overnight. She had neurological problem which made her couldn’t stand and walk. She needed help from time to time to urinate and defecate as well. C963-Wilma was found having difficulty in eating and swallowed the food a week ago. She was sent to a clinic and stayed there for heat therapy and closed observation. She also needed warmer sheet and someone to flip her sides every hour to keep her warm. This is not a life for her! Anima–December Rescue (SPP1963-Kenzo)!

<23-12-2017> SPP1963-Kenzo (M), around three years old,  now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima on 23th December 2017, after a call from our rescue team reporting that they found a dog unable to move during their daily feeding. SPP1963-Kenzo is staying with us for observation. He will have a blood test and tick fever test tomorrow. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–December Rescue (C1811-Dumpling)!

<23-12-2017> C1811-Dumpling (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 23th December 2017, after a call from Mr. Oscar of Anihelp, informing that they rescued a sick cat in Travessa da Palangana. C1811-Dumpling was sent to a clinic by Anihelp. He stays in the clinic and is now recovered. We pick him up and he is staying in our Cat’s Paradise for quarantine. Thanks Mr. Oscar and Anihelp! Anima–December Sad News (C1794-Chimay)!

<22-12-2017> C1787-Artois (M), C1788-Guinness (M), C1789-Heineken (M), C1790-Sapporo (M), C1791-Budweiser (M), C1792-Molson (M), C1793-Sierra (F) and C1794-Chimay (F), were rescued by Anima on 28th November 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don't have enough space for the cats. They were all vaccinated and desexed by IACM. All of them stayed at Anima Cats’ Paradise. C1794-Chimay was getting sick and she stopped eating yesterday. She was sent to a clinic for consultation. Blood test showed that she had severe pancreatitis and her condition was critical. C1794-Chimay stayed in the clinic for treatment but unfortunately she couldn’t make it. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–December Sad News (C1512-Wifi)!

<22-12-2017> C1512-Wifi (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on the 3rd May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy, reporting that she took home Wifi the day before and asked us if we could take to Anima all the cats she feeds in Guia as she found many have been poisoned there. She asked us to help. C1512-Wifi was brought to Anima, checked and de-wormed. He stayed with us since that day. C1512-Wifi was getting sick few weeks ago, he was dehydrated and refused to eat for few day. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. Blood test showed that he had pancreatitis and anemia with hemolysis. According to the vet, C1512-Wifi didn’t have much chance to survive.
