Anima–August Abandonment (C958,C3088,C3089)!

<27-08-2025> C958-Remi (M), around 10 years old, C3088-Summer (F), around 11 years old and C3089-Winter (F), around eight years old, were rescued by Anima on 27th August 2025, after a call from their owner reporting that he needs to leave Macau and he can not bring them with him. He asked us help. All were rescued and welcome back to our Cats’ Paradise! Pets are not toys! If you want us to help them, you must help us adopting or fostering! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–January Rescue (C2778, C2779)!

<16-01-2023> C2778-BoBo (F), around six years old and C2779-Lou Fu Chai (M), around four years old, were rescued by Anima on 16th January 2023, after a message on Facebook from a lady referring her situation and why she cannot take care of her seven cats anymore. She asked us help. Both, C2778-BoBo and C2779-Lou Fu Chai were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise, today. Anima will collect others later. Please, consider more options before abandon any animal in the streets! Anima–August Abandoned (T036-Ping Ping)!

<27-08-2022> Turtle T036-Ping Ping being abandoned! By the end of July, we received a e-mail from Ms. Joana asking for our help. She and her family are moving abroad but she cannot bring along her turtle Ping Ping with them. Ping Ping has been staying with the family for more than 10 years, she tried finding a new home for Ping Ping but was unsuccessful. Since the date of leaving was approaching, Ms. Joana asked Anima to take care of her turtle. Ping Ping is now in Cats’ Paradise and is living in the pond with other turtles. Anima–September Abandonment (811-Nacha)!

<30-09-2021> 811-Nacha (M), nine years and nine months old, was adopted by a lady from Anima on 25th April 2012, when 811-Nacha was only three months old. Unfortunately, today he was left in Macau kennel! Anima was informed by IAM, recently that 811-Nacha was abandoned by the adopter at Macau Municipal Kennel due to an epilepsy seizure. 811-Nacha was rescued by Anima from Macau Municipal Kennel today, 30th September 2021. Owners need to know and to understand that there are more solutions than just abandon pets like material objects. They are living beings. Anima-September Return (C1201-Greer)!

<11-09-2021> C1201-Greer (M), a cat around five years old, was returned to our shelter today by the adopter. Greer was adopted from Anima back in 2016. His family, however, claimed now that he’s not adapting well to a new environment with children and is uncertain about the future. Given the lack of options, Greer was welcomed back to our shelter. Anima-August Return (C2142-Erwine)!

<30-08-2021> C2142-Erwine (F), around five weeks old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 20th June 2019, after she was found by one of our staff members right outside our Cats’ Paradise. Erwine was adopted on 9th August 2019! Unfortunately, today she was left in Macau kennel! The owner needs to leave and cannot bring her back. Anima-June Rescue (C2586, C2587)!

<21-06-2021> C2586-Lala (F), around one year old and C2587-Poe (F), around two years old, both were rescued by Anima on 21st June 2021, from Macau Kennel as they have no more space for cats now. Both were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise after received rabies vaccination. According with some situations, Anima cooperates with IAM to rescue more animals in danger. Thanks, IAM! Anima–June Rescue (2372-Wong Choi Mui)!

<12-06-2021> 2372-Wong Choi Mui (F), a 16-year-old dog, was rescued by Anima on 12 June 2021, following a call from Ms. Ieong, an Anima Board Member, reporting that a skinny dog was found wandering on the road of Praia Do Manduco. Our team was mobilized and noticed the dog was microchipped. IAM was informed and assisted us contacting the owner. The owner, however, claimed to be unable to continue taking care of the dog due to financial reasons. Wong Choi Mui was diagnosed with Mammary Gland Tumor and Pyometra last year and has, inclusively, received surgery. Wong Choi Mui was then welcomed into our Dogs’ Shelter. Anima–April Rescue (2363-CoCo)!

<30-04-2021> 2363-CoCo (F), around one and a half years old, was rescued by Anima on 30th April 2021, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a poodle, 2363-CoCo, was wandering on the road at Rotunda da Concordia and almost got hit by a car. He asked us to help. CoCo does not have a microchip and stayed in our Dogs’ Shelter. Later, we received a call from the owner Ms. Leong, who claimed mencioned that 2363-Coco had escaped from the house which is at Estr. de Lai Chi Vun. 2363-CoCo will be returned to Ms. Leong after implant the microchip in IAM. Anima–Rescue April (2358-Ziggy)!

<26-04-2021> 2355-Wong Chai (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 26th March 2021, after receiving a call on 23rd March from Mr. Ao Yeong reporting that in Edf. Ip Heng, block 5 on the 14th Floor, a neighbor left a dog in the corridor for a few days without anybody knowing. 2355-Wong Chai’s sibling, 2358-Ziggy (M) was also collected by IAM and had been staying in Macau Kennel for quarantine.
