Anima–October Sad News (C2759-Lucy)!

<21-10-2022> C2759-Lucy (F), around 10 months old, was rescued dead by Anima on 21st October 2022, after her body has been found by our handler, Mr. Rey on the side of the road from the bus stop Assoc. de M. de Coloane from Estrada de Cheoc Van. She was run over by vehicles and passed away. Her body will be later delivered to IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Please Adopt and Never Buy! Never Abandon your pet! He is not a toy! Anima–October Sad News (C2689-Egg)!

<20-10-2022> C2689-Egg(M), around three months old back then, was rescued by Anima on 10th January 2022, after a message from Ms. In referring that there was an adult sick cat on Travessa dos Ovos for a few days. Our Rescue Team went there and found a kitten. The young cat, C2689-Egg, was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, he has been hospitalized in a clinic. Blood tests were done and showed that Egg had pancreatitis and kidney failure. His health condition was getting worst. Besides all medical efforts and after a seizure, C2689-Egg passed away, today. <19-10-2022> C1688-Ace (M), around five months old back then, was rescued by Anima on 5th August 2017, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a kitten was found in a temple in Estrada de Coelho do Amaral. Ace has been living in Anima for many years, in our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, he got terribly sick and he went to the clinic for treatment. Anima-October Sad News (C2158-Sprite)!

<14-10-2022> C2158-Sprite (M) and C2159- Fanta (M), both around five months old back then, were rescued by Anima on the 8th July 2019 after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that the kittens got in his building and were wandering right in front of his door in the 3rd floor. The kittens were both welcomed in our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, C2158-Sprite got terribly sick. He had jaundice, severe stomatitis that might be caused by calicivirus or FIV, and also FIP. He went back to a clinic for recheck his treatment and decide about extend his life condition according with his health situation. Anima-September Sad News (C1974-Saba)!

<07-10-2022> C1974-Saba (M), around three years old back then, was rescued by Anima on 24th August 2018, after a call from IACM reporting that they didn’t have enough space for cats. C1974-Saba was licensed, desexed and vaccinated at IACM. He has been in our Cats’ Paradise until now. Today, Saba was found in a bad health condition, without strength to move himself. <19-09-2022> Sadly, our senior female dog, 441-A-Mui, passed away today. A-Mui was rescued by Anima many years ago. Recently, her health was getting worst. 441-A-Mui was sent to the clinic, where she was diagnosed with Gastric Dilatation Volvulus (GDV) due to her bloated stomach. Anima–August Sad News (C1907-Alfreda)!

<15-09-2022> Sadly, our cat C1907-Alfreda passed away today. Alfreda was rescued by Anima in 2018. Recently, she was getting skinny, dehydrated and refused to eat yesterday. C1907-Alfreda was sent to a clinic. According to the vet, Alfreda had kidney failure and might pass away anytime. Prognosis is very bad and there is no chance for recover. Euthanasia was considered to end her suffering. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Alfreda was euthanized as an effort to shorten her pain and agony. R.I.P. our friend! Please Adopt and Never Buy! Anima–August Sad News (292-Nuvens)!

<30-08-2022> 292-Nuvens (M), one of our eldest dogs in the shelter has been with us for long time. He was sent to a clinic for consultation as it was difficult to walk and had coughs. According to the vet, 292-Nuvens had a heart problem and his both knees have arthritis. Also, his left chest had a mass that could be a tumor. Even with all treatments and medication, he got worst recently and today, 292-Nuvens was found passed away in his pen place. His body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend!
