Anima-Instituto Salesiano visited us!

<29-05-2021> Today, we were visited by 82 people, of which 45 were from Instituto Salesiano. From this group, 18 students had the chance to visit our Dogs’ Shelter and 27 our Cats' Paradise. The students interacted with our furry friends and generously donated MOP 5,310 to Anima! Thank you so much for your visit and support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2020, we were visited by 10.495 people, compared with 7.487 visitors in 2019. <28-05-2021> SPP1512-Soda Biscuit (F), around seven years old and SPP1659-Cow (M), around six years old, were rescued by Anima from IAM on 28th May 2021, as their owner cannot take care of them anymore. Anima–May Rescue (SPP1902-Farley)!

<28-05-2021> SPP1902-Farley (M), around four years old, has been under our SPP program since the 23rd June 2017, under Mr. Alex’s responsibility. Today, it was reported to Anima that Farley is not eating, and he is getting skinny. SPP1902-Farley was diagnosed with a bacterial infection (Ehrlichia canis). Anima–May Sad News (H044-Kiwi)!

<25-05-2021> H044-Kiwi (F), around two months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 28th January 2020, from a youngster Kenji, who claimed to have 28 hamsters and had mixed the males and females together because he had no space to take care of them. She has been hospitalized in a vet clinic with a mouth abscess, for treatment. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, she did not survive, and her body will be delivered in IAM. <17-05-2021> C2583-Vista (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 24th May 2021, following a call from Mr. Lei reporting that there was a cat staying outside of BNU of Fai Chi Kei for a few days and it seems to having difficulty on breathing. C2481-Voda (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 20th January 2021, following a call from Mr. Bosco reporting that a stray female cat that he usually feed in Travessa dos Anjos was pregnant.
