Anima–February Return (C2525-Twinky)!

<18-02-2021> C2525-Twinky (F), around four months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th February 2021, and now she is in our Special Protection Program, under Ms. Carla's responsibility at her workplace Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro. A cat trap was lent to Ms. Carla and she caught Twinky. The kitten was directly sent to a clinic where Twinky was checked, vaccinated, dewormed and defleaed. C2525-Twinky returned today, back to her place and family in Pátio. Thanks, Ms. Carla, for everything! Please help us to help them! Anima-February Sad News (390-Happy)!

<07-02-2021> Sadly, our dog 390-Happy has passed away in a clinic today. Happy’s health was unstable for the last days and she could not stand up at the beginning. She was sent to a clinic for consultation. According with the vet, she might have a tumor. Symptoms showed her suffering. Although a surgery was about to be performed, it was also suggested by the clinic to euthanize her to end the pain. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, she did not survive. Anima-February Adoption (C2392, C2394)!

<14-02-2021> Nayomi and Nelly were adopted today by Mr. Wong! C2391-Nilah (F), C2392-Nayomi (F), C2393-Nicolette (F) and C2394-Nelly (M), all around two weeks old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 14th September 2020, following a call from Ms. Carla reporting that a loud ‘meowing’ could be heard near Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro in the early morning. Four kittens were found and rescued since no adult female cat was found nearby. All kittens were temporarily fostered by our staff members for special care and milk feeding. Nayomi and Nelly were initially adopted on 21th November, 2020 but were later returned as one member of the family was suffering from severe allergies. They returned to the foster care of our staff. Anima–February Rescue (C2523, 2524)!

<13-02-2021> C2523-Akio (M), around six months old, and C2524-Manki (M), around seven months old, were rescued by Anima from Rua Dois of Iao Hon on 13th February 2021. These cats were rescued as a way to ensure their safety following last shocking reports of several cats found dead in the area. Akio and Manki were both welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. These rescues are part of an extensive rescue operation which is in progress in Iao Hon and Anima has been receiving the support of I.A.M. Please help us to help them! Anima-February Return (B197-Vera)!

<12-02-2021> B197-Vera, a dove, was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2021, following a call from Ms. Hui informing that she found a dove, B197-Vera, unable to fly near Edf. Kam Loi. She asked us help. Our rescue team collected Vera, sending her directly to a clinic. According to the vet, she was weak and needed to be fed. She was hospitalized in the clinic until full recover. Anima–February Adoption (C2495-Oasis)!

<11-02-2021> Oasis was adopted today by Ms. Daniela! C2495-Oasis (F), around three months old back then, was rescued by Anima on 26th January 2021, after a call from Ms. Laura referring that she had rescued a kitten near One Oasis. As she noticed the kitten shaking, she brought her to a clinic, but Oasis was confirmed to be healthy and without injuries.
