Anima–January Adoption (C1140-Poppy)!

<09-01-2021> Poppy was adopted by Mr. Wang, today! C1140-Poppy (F) was rescued by Anima on 17/03/2016, when she was around two years old, following a call from Ms. Leong reporting that a kitten was hiding under a tree near Rua Dois do Bairro da Concórdia. Her body was soaked and her left hind leg was fractured. She would be welcomed in our shelter after recovering in a clinic. Today, Poppy was adopted by Mr. Wang! Thanks for adopting, Mr. Wang! Anima-January Sad News (C2077-Darcey)!

<06-01-2021> C2077-Darcey (F), around two-year-old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 17th January 2019, after a call from Mr. Lam. Darcey was hiding inside his shop for three to four days and he thought that she was pregnant. Mr. Lam put a trap inside his shop. C2077-Darcey was rescued and welcomed to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, Darcey was sent to a clinic for consultation as she was getting skinny, lethargic and she has not been eating for a day. Blood tests results showed anaemia and jaundice. C2077-Darcey was under treatments and taking medication, but her condition got worst suddenly in the last days. Following the veterinary medical advice and consent given by several members of Anima's board, Darcey was euthanized at a clinic as an attempt to reduce her suffering. R.I.P. our dear friend! Anima–January Rescue (2334, 2335, 2336)!

<06-01-2021> 2334-Ben Ben (M), around seven years, 2335-Fei Mui (F), around 14 years old and 2336-Cola (F), around seven years old, were rescued by Anima on 6th January 2021, after a call from a person regarding on 28th December, that a lady who was living in Centro International de Macau and supported by Anima with animals’ food, was hospitalized in Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário. According to the person, she has three dogs and around 13 cats at home originally. The cats were released to the terrace of the building, but the three dogs were at home. The person asked us help. Anima caught the dogs, 2334-Ben Ben, 2335-Fei Mui, 2336-Cola, and they were sent to our Dogs’ Shelter (Anima), today. Thanks for helping! Please help us to help them! <04-01-2021> C2477-Ginni (F), around five months old, was rescued by Anima on 4th January 2021, after a call from Mr. Miguel regarding on 28th December, that a lady who was living in Centro International de Macau and supported by Anima for food, was hospitalized in Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário a week ago. According to Mr. Miguel, she has three dogs and around 13 cats at home originally. The cats were released to the terrace of the building but the three dogs still at home. He asked us help. Anima–January Adoption (C2426-Kabir)!

<04-01-2021> Kabir was adopted by Mr. Kan, today! C2426-Kabir (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 11th November 2020, after we received Facebook message from Ms. Fong referring that her neighbour tied a male cat outside on a nylon string again and it is happening the second time. Anima reported to Macau Kennel immediately. The cat was transferred to I.A.M. Our rescue team brought him to Anima. C2426-Kabir was consulted and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima-New SPP dog (SPP2333-Kiwi)!

<03-01-2021> SPP2333-Kiwi (F), around one year old, was registered on our Special Protection Program (SPP) today. Kiwi is under Ms. Wong’s responsibility in a workshop in Ka-Ho. Kiwi was also sent today to a clinic for a spay surgery supported by Anima and returned to her original site after surgery. Anima is helping with Kiwi's feeding as well. <01-01-2021> The cat, C2468-Tandy (F), around four months old, was rescued by Anima on 1st January 2021, after a call from Mr. Miguel informing that a lady who was living in Centro International de Macau and supported by Anima for food, was hospitalized in Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário a week ago. According to Mr. Miguel, she has three dogs and around 13 cats at home. The cats were released to the terrace of the building but the three dogs are still at home. He hired a part-time helper to feed the dogs and cleaning the house, but he cannot afford the expenses for so long. He asked us help. Anima–December Adoption (C2376-Carter)!

<31-12-2020> Carter was adopted by Ms. Chan, today! C2376-Carter (M), around one and a half years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 11th August 2020, after a call from Ms. Lo referring that she was taking care of one cat, Carter, abandoned by someone who lives in the same building of her. After one week, C2376-Carter, still does not get along well with her two cats who were not willing to eat food. She asked us help.
