Anima–December Adoption (C2431-Travis)!

<29-12-2020> Travis was adopted by Ms. Wong, today! C2431-Travis (M), a cat around three years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 23rd November 2020, from I.A.M. (Macau Kennel). He was rescued by the I.A.M. services after being found living confined to a small area, on a staircase, by its previous owner. Travis was welcome in our Cats' Paradise. Anima-December Sad News (C2166-Sam)!

<23-12-2020> Our cat, C2166-Sam has been eating less and his abdomen has been growing bigger. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. Blood test results indicating anemia and high infection. Sam had been tested positive for FCoV and due to his yellowish abdominal fluid, it might have developed for FIP. Following the veterinary medical advice and consent given by several members of Anima's board, Sam was euthanized at a clinic as an attempt to reduce his suffering. R.I.P. our dear friend! Anima–December Rescue (C2462-Globe)!

<28-12-2020> C2462-Globe (M), a kitten around six months old, was rescued from a patio of 'Centro Internacional de Macau’ this early morning. Several cats are still wandering in the site as their previous owner, who had them at home, was suddenly hospitalized and the cats were freed in the patio by an acquaintance. Anima have already rescued another cat yesterday and we will continue to mobilize efforts in order to rescue all remaining animals. <27-12-2020> C2461-Santa (F), a cat around eight months old, was rescued by Anima from a patio at ‘Centro Internacional de Macau’ where several cats are wandering. <26-12-2020> Camden was adopted today by Mr. Fábio! C2436-Camden (M) was collected by I.A.M. after being found with other four kittens on a cardboard box at the University of Macau, when she was just two months old. Anima agreed to rescue them from Macau Kennel if they didn’t find an adopter and, therefore, Camden was welcomed at our Cats' Paradise on 23/11/2020, where he stayed until now. <23-12-2020> C2459-Merlot (F), around three months old and C2460-Pinot (F), around two and a half months old, were rescued by Anima on 23rd December 2020, after a call from IAM regarding that they do not have more free space for cats now. Anima–December Adoption (C2439-Dustin)!

<22-12-2020> Dustin was adopted by Ms. Tânia, today! C2438-Jase and C2439-Dustin, both males around two months old, were rescued by Anima on 1st December 2020, after two ladies informed our staff in Cats’ Paradise that they saw a sick kitten with heavy ocular discharge in a store on R. dos Negociantes. The kitten was owned by a nearby store, but the owner refused to take care of him for some personal reasons. Our team went to the place and saw two kittens under the condition previously described. I.A.M. was informed by Anima and later the owner sought to assistance and asked us to take the kittens. C2438-Jase and C2439-Dustin were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima–December Adoption (C2432, C2434)!

<21-12-2020> Claire and Cooper were adopted by Mr. Tam! C2432-Claire (F), C2433-Camilla (F), C2434-Cooper (M), C2435-Caleb (M) and C2436-Camden (M), all around two and a half months old by the time, were originally found on a cardboard Cashier at the University of Macau, near the playground. Eventually, the kittens were rescued by the I.A.M and Anima agreed to rescue them if they did not find an adopter. The five kittens were welcome to our Cats' Paradise. Anima–December Rescue (C2458-Mac Mac)!

<22-12-2020> C2458-Mac Mac (M), a cat about two years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd December 2020, after a call from Mr. Chu informing that a cat was hiding under the kiosk in the bus parking area at the Macau Tower. The place was narrow, and he was having trouble getting him out. Mr. Chu thought the cat had been hit by a car and had seen him limping before. Our rescue team managed to catch him, and Mac was taken to a clinic. Fortunately, the x-ray results show no fracture and he will be discharged tomorrow, being welcome in our Cats’ Paradise. Anima-December Sad News (C2153-Misawa)!

<22-12-2020> Our cat, C2153-Misawa died today. Her health condition had been getting worse since last month when she started getting lethargic and losing weight. After consultation at a private clinic, she improved slightly, but she continually needed to be fed by force and never fully regained her weight. Today, Misawa was found very weak and immediately sent to a clinic. Unfortunately, her overall prognosis was bad and irreversible. Following the veterinary medical advice and consent given by several members of Anima's board, Misawa was euthanized at the clinic as an attempt to reduce her suffering. R.I.P. our dear friend!
