Anima-Lui Che Woo College (UM) helped us!

<18-11-2020> Today, we were visited by 24 people, which 14 were volunteers from Lui Che Woo College (University of Macau) and helped us in our Cats’ Paradise with internal work of Anima! Everyone had the opportunity to play with our four-legged companions! Thank you for your visit! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! Anima–November Adoption (C2073-Zora)!

<18-11-2020> Zora was adopted today by Mr. Colley! C2073-Zora (F), around one year old by the time, was rescued on the 26th January 2019, after a call from Ms. Mak when she found C2073-Zora and four kittens near S. Lourenço Municipal Market Complex. Ms. Mak asked us to borrow our cat trap so she could catch the kittens. All family has been in our Cats’ Paradise. Zora was adopted today by Mr. Colley! Thank you, Mr. Colley! Anima-November Adoption (C2405-Woody)!

<18-11-2020> Woody was adopted by Mr. Teles today! C2402-Forky (newborn), C2403-Gabby (F), around one year old, C2404-Buzz (newborn) and C2405-Woody (newborn), as well as C2406-Tifa (F), C2407-Tova (F) and C2408-Terra (F), all around seven months old, were rescued by Anima on the 10th October 2020, following a visit to a site under the responsibility of an elderly lady, who has asked for our help with long-term food support for her animals. Unexpectedly, we were taken to a patio of a building where 11 cats were found in small cages, inside a narrow and dark improvised room. Due to the severe state they were in, without minimum living conditions, we immediately started developing plans to an extensive rescue operation. They have been in our Cats’ Paradise! Anima-November Adoption (2306-Yamaha)!

<16-11-2020> Yamaha was adopted by Mr. Santos, today! 2306-Yamaha (M), a poodle of around four years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 10th October 2020. Mr. Dullin, a blue-card holder, visited our shelter claiming that he can no longer take care of Yamaha, since he was dismissed by his employer. Given the lack of possibilities and hoping that Yamaha could find an adopter soon, he was welcomed at our Dog Shelter. Yamaha was adopted today by Mr. Santos! Thanks, Mr. Santos! Anima–November Adoption (C2378-Kilian)!

<15-11-2020> Kilian was adopted by Ms. Sou, today! C2378-Kilian (M), around 10 weeks old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 23/08/2020 following a call from Ms. Mak reporting that a kitten had fallen into a patio inside Centro Católico da Igreja de São Francisco Xavier, in Mong Ha. Anima-November Sad News (C2421-Flynn)!

<14-11-2020> C2421-Flynn (M), rescued on 03/11/2020 when he was only two weeks old, was found dehydrated, malnourished and with a low temperature. We soon realized he was also experiencing diarrhea. Since that day, he had been hospitalized receiving treatment. He would be discharged from the clinic a couple days ago and was fostered by our staff in order to receive special care. Unfortunately, his condition didn’t improve and he passed away at night, despite all our efforts. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–November Adoption (C2395-Lani)!

<14-11-2020> Lani was adopted by Mr. Wong, today! C2395-Lani (F), a cat around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 16/09/2020 following a call reporting that a cat was found inactive under an air conditioning box of an interior window on a third floor of a building in Patane, Macau. Being on a spot difficult to access, Anima contacted I.A.M. to help with the rescue. After several attempts, IAM was able to help our team rescuing the cat. She was immediately sent to a clinic, where X-ray scan results showed a fracture on the right front leg. A surgery would later be conducted with success. Lani recovered and was welcomed at our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Lani was adopted by Mr. Wong! Thanks for adopting, Mr. Wong! Please, Adopt and never buy! <14-11-2020> SPP2313-Tiara (F), a dog around three years old, and her four puppies, SPP2314-Teo (M), SPP2315-Tea (F), SPP2316-Tia (F) and SPP2317-Thy (F), all around five months old, have been registered under our Special Protection Program (SPP) today. They are living in a site in Coloane, under the responsibility of Mr. Ng. Anima will provide an X-ray exam and a spay surgery to prevent SPP2313-Tiara from getting pregnant again.
