Anima-October Sad News (290-Peluda)!
<28-10-2020> 290-Peluda (F), around 12 years and 10 months old, was found recently not able to move on her own and started to have difficulty breathing. She was consulted by our vet and received Oxygen Therapy Treatment for help her to breath. 290-Peluda was sent to a clinic for further examination. Blood Tests were performed, and the result revealed that she has anaemia and infections, a low blood platelet and low blood sugar (Hypoglycaemia). According to the vet, 290-Peluda has also heart murmur (abnormal sound) and pus in the nasal cavities. An echocardiogram was performed, and the result indicated her heart have degeneration due to old age. 290-Peluda was hospitalized in the clinic, under IV Fluids and medical care. On the next days, her health condition indeed deteriorated fast. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, 290-Peluda was euthanized today, an effort to shorten her agony. R.I.P. our dear...
