Anima–April Rescue (SPP740-Lucky)!

<06-04-2018> SPP740-Lucky (M), was under our Special Protection Program since 2013 and was rescued by Anima on 6th April 2018, after a call from Mr. Seng and Mrs. Hoi informing that SPP740-Lucky’s rump was found swollen. SPP740-Lucky was sent to a clinic for consultation. He had abscesses due to wound infection. The vet helped putting a temporary tube into the wound to drain out pus, blood and fluid from the abscess. SPP740-Lucky is staying at the clinic for treatment. Mrs. Hoi will help us pay for the expenses. Thanks Mr. Seng and Mrs. Hoi! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Adoption (C1852-Axell)!

<05-04-2018> Axell was adopted by Mr. Silva on 5th April 2018! C1852-Axell (M), was rescued by Anima on 16th February 2018 when he was around 1.5 months old, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a kitten was found alone at the Forte de Mong Ha. She asked us for help. C1852-Axell was checked by our vet and dewormed. C1852-Axell has stayed with us and was now adopted. Thanks Mr. Silva! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–April Rescue (2016-Cadman)!

<05-04-2018> 2016-Cadman (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 5th April 2018, with the help of Mr. Lei reporting that he found a puppy, 2016-Cadman, alone in the Cemitério Unido das Associações de Coloane. He brought 2016-Cadman to our Cats’ Paradise for help. 2016-Cadman was checked by our staff and dewormed. He had some ticks and some rashes on his skin. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima does not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! Be our member! Anima–April Sad News (C1875-Moon)!

<04-04-2018> C1875-Moon (F), was rescued by Anima on 3rd April 2018 when she was around two months old, after a call from Corpo de Policia de Segurança Pública reporting that a kitten C1875-Moon was found on street with severe injury. C1875-Moon was sent to a clinic immediately. The X-ray report showed that her left hind leg was fractured. Her leg was severe injured and need to be amputated. C1875-Moon had internal bleeding as the bladder was ruptured. She stayed at the clinic for close observation. Unfortunately we were informed that C1875-Moon passed away in the clinic. Anima–April Sad News (C1802-Levis)!

<02-04-2018> C1802-Levis (M), was rescued by Anima on 11th December 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. C1802-Levis had stayed with us since that time. Recently he was found walking unsteadily and was not active. The blood test showed he had renal  and neurological problems. He had been under force feeding. C1802-Levis had multiple seizures and  was in low temperatures entering in suffer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Anima-April Temporary Accommodation (1979-Zeki)!

<02-04-2018> Zeki will be temporarily accommodated at Anima for treatment! 1979-Zeki (M), was rescued by Anima on 15th January 2018 when he was around two days old, after a call from Ms. Kuok reporting that a mother dog gave birth to seven puppies. Zeki was adopted by Mr. Tai on 27th March 2018! He was found having skin problems and this was informed by the adopter after few days he  was adopted. Anima–April Sad News (SPP2015-Beanie)!

<02-04-2018> SPP2015-Beanie (F),  under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 1st April 2018 when she was around seven years old, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a dog SPP2015-Beanie was hit by a car and was unable to move. He asked us for help. SPP2015-Beanie was sent to a clinic immediately. The report showed that her spleen was swollen. She had internal bleeding and was severe anemic. SPP2015-Beanie stayed in the clinic for dripping and close observation. Unfortunately we were informed by the clinic that SPP2015-Beanie passed away this morning due to internal bleeding.
