Anima–February Rescue (C1851-Arlan)!

<16-02-2018> C1851-Arlan (M), around eight months old, was rescued by Anima on 16th February 2018 at the entrance of Cat´s  Paradise when our staff arrived at work. C1851-Arlan was inside a carrier and was  abandoned. He was checked by our vet and dewormed. He is staying at Cat´s  Paradise now for quarantine. Please help us to help them! Anima–February Sad News (C234-Runaway)!

<15-02-2018> C234-Runaway (F), was rescued by Anima on 1st March 2011 when she was around eight months old- She had stayed with us since that time. She was found today very weak and could not walk properly. She was in low temperature and dehydrated. The blood test showed C234-Runaway had severe renal problem. Anima–February Sad News (SPP1987-Miner)!

<15-02-2018> SPP1987-Miner (M), SPP1986-Midian (M) and SPP1985-Marika (M), under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima on 28th January 2018 when they were around two years old, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that she used to feed stray dogs but some of them were sick . SPP1985-Marika and SPP1986-Midian had passed away due to Canine Distemper. SPP1989-Miner had Canine Distemper and stayed at a clinic for treatment. He also did an x-ray as he had difficulty to breathe. The report showed that his intestine was inside the chest. According to the vet, SPP1987-Miner had to receive a surgery in order to avoid further damage to other internal organs in his body. The surgery could be arranged only when he had recovered from the Canine Distemper. Unfortunately he passed away today due to upper respiratory tract infection. R.I.P. my friend! <15-02-2018> B089-Murga was rescued by Anima on 15th February 2018, after a call from Ms. Ashley reporting that a pigeon B089-Murga was found in Rampa dos Cavaleiros and was unable to fly. February Rescue and Return (SPPC1617, SPPC1849)!

<15-02-2018> SPPC1617-Dee (M), was under our Special Protection Program since 27th June 2017 when was around seven months old. SPPC1849-Coffee (M), under our Special Protection Program now when is around one year old. Both were rescued by Anima on 15th February 2018 through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. They were brought to Anima for castration today. After the surgery, they returned to their place under Michele’s responsibility. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima–February Rescue (C1850-Clancy)!

<15-02-2018> C1850-Clancy (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 15th February 2018, after a call from Mr. Lou reporting that there was a cat hiding on the roof of his building in Rua do Patane. The cat got injury and seems pregnant. He asked us for help. C1850-Clancy was sent to a clinic. There was a deep wound on her neck through the skin. The injury seems caused by a dog attack. Anima–February Rescue and adoption (Goldwin)!

<14-02-2018> Goldwin (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 14th February 2018, after a call from Ms. Eva reporting that she found a dog in Rua de Seng Tou. She asked us for help. Our rescue team checked the dog and found he has microchip. We sent 1998-Goldwin to IACM for contacting the owner. However according to IACM the dog license was not renewed and the owner decided to abandon the dog. Ms. Eva decided to adopt 1998-Goldwin. She made the adoption procedure at IACM and adopted him! <14-02-2018> Sibala will temporarily accommodate at Anima for seven days until 21st February 2018! 1534-Sibala (M), was rescued by Anima on 27th September 2015, around five years old at that time, after a call from Mr. Lung reporting that he couldn’t take care of his dog anymore as his daughter just had a new born baby . Happily he was collected back by the family on 10th October 2015. Now he came back for a temporary accommodation for seven days!
