Anima – February Rescue (SPP1996-Ultraman)!

<07-02-2018> SPP1996-Ultraman (M), around five years old, now under our special protection program, was rescued by Anima on 7th February 2018, after a call from a worker Mr. Chow informing that SPP1996-Ultraman lives on a site and is sick. SPP1996-Ultraman has nasal discharge and low appetite. He might contracted Canine distemper as he lives near the site where some dogs got canine distemper and tick fever a few days ago. SPP1996-Ultraman was sent to a clinic. The report showed he has canine distemper. He needs to stay at the clinic for treatment. Thanks Mr. Chow! Please help us to help them! Anima–February Rescue (SPPC1837, SPPC1838)!

<04-02-2018> SPPC1838-Sara (F) and SPPC1838-Laurel (F), both around seven months old, now under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima on 4th February 2018 through Michele. They were found sick, vomiting and not eating. The blood test showed SPPC1837-Sara is anemic with renal problem and infection. She is also dehydrated and had hypothermia. SPPC1838-Laurel has ocular and nasal discharge. They stay in Cat Paradise for treatment. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima–February Rescue (SPP1993-SPP1995)!

<04-02-2018> SPP1993-Shar Pei (M), around two years old, APP1994-Siu Hac (M), around three years old and SPP1995-On Chai (M), around two years old, now under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima on 4th February during our daily feeding. They live in Coloane and under Mr. Yip’s responsibility. Our rescue team found that they lost appetite and were worried that all of them have Canine Distemper. We sent them to a clinic for test. SPP1993-Shar Pei and SPP1995-On Chai have Canine Distemper and Tick Fever. SPP1994-Siu Hac has Canine Distemper. They need to stay in the clinic for treatment. Please help us to help them! Anima–February Sad News (SPP1989-Milton)!

<03-02-2018> SPP1989-Milton (M), under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 28th January 2018 when he was around four months old, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that she used to feed stray dogs in an area but some of them were sick. SPP1989-Milton did an X-ray as he has difficulty in breathing. The result showed that he had pneumonia. He stayed in the clinic for treatment and observation. Unfortunately SPP1989-Milton passed away this morning in clinic due to severe pneumonia. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–February Sad News (C1291-Hac Bak)!

<02-02-2018> C1291-Hac Bak (M), was rescued by Anima on 24th September 2016 when he was 11 years old, after a call from Ms. Fong referring that an old man lived with his six cats in Edf. Man Fong and they were forced to move out of the apartment. All of his belongings were thrown out to the street including his cats. We collected some of his cats and some had run away at that time. C1291-Hac Bak has been having upper respiratory tract infection since 1st January 2018. He was sent to a clinic for treatment and was diagnosed with cat flu. On 31st January he had improved a lot and returned to us. However he was not eating since coming back. He was found shaking, difficult in breathing, with nasal discharge and jaundice. Anima–February Rescue and Sad News (1992-Bernie)!

<01-02-2018> 1991-Bao (F) and 1992-Bernie (F), at that time around 1.5 months old, were rescued by our rescue team on 1st February 2018 during their daily feeding somewhere in Coloane. One of the puppies, 1992-Bernie had seizure and suspected to have canine distemper, so we collected both of them. 1991-Bao and 1992-Bernie were sent to a clinic for checking. Both of them had Canine Distemper. As 1992-Bernie had seizure and was suffering in pain, there was nothing to do to improve her situation. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima–February Sad News (SPP1941-Jaleh)!

<01-02-2018> SPP1941-Jaleh (F), SPP1939-Jahid (M) and SPP1940-Jagna (F), all were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 22nd November 2017 when they were around seven months old at that time. Ms. Choi is responsible for them in that area. On 1st February 2018 we received a call from Mr. Augusto from ARTM reporting that a dead body of a black dog was found near the New Prison in Coloane. He said that a black dog was crashed by a heavy truck and the lower body was destroyed. When our rescue team arrived, it was hard to identify the dog. We contacted Ms. Choi as we suspected the dog may be SPP1941-Jaleh. According to Ms. Choi, SPP1941-Jaleh had been missing for around a month already. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–January Sad News (C1504-Biscuit)!

<31-01-2018> C1504-Biscuit (M), was rescued by Anima on 24th April 2017, when he was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Lau reporting that a cat was found wandering outside the building where he lived, on Estrada de Coelho do Amaral, since one month ago. He couldn’t find the owner of C1504-Biscuit and he had been feeding C1504-Biscuit on the street. But Mr. Lau didn’t want him living on the street anymore, so he caught C1504-Biscuit and brought to Cat Paradise. C1504-Biscuit was sent to our clinic and de-wormed. He stayed with us since that day. C1504-Biscuit started getting sick and dehydrated two weeks ago and had been under medication. He refused to eat and needed to force feeding every day.
