Anima – October Rescue (1806-Jojo)!

<02-10-2016> 1806-Jojo (F), one year old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd October 2016, after a call from Ms. Rebecca reporting that a dog was found leashing under a tree at the park of R. do Meio. No microchip was found on her. If you are the owner please contact us as soon as possible. Jojo will stay with us temporarily as we are completely full and we can not guarantee that an aggression by other dogs will not happen! Our dogs live in groups, they are never alone! Anima – October Rescue (SPP1592-Benton)!

<01-10-2016> SPP1592-Benton (M), one year old, together with his siblings SPP1593-Bevis, SPP1594-Bond, SPP1595-Benton, SPP1596-Basia, SPP1597-Belva and the mother, SPP1598-Benita that were under our Special Protection Program since 4th December 2015, live in a site, somewhere in Coloane. We were informed that Benton’s left thigh was injured and he refused to eat for two days. His wound was quite big, needed six stitches to close it up. His blood test report showed that he has slightly anemia. He is staying with us under treatment now. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! <01-10-2016> C1270-Mei (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 26th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that a cat fell down from a building in Estrada Mei Keng to her balcony and entered her apartment. Mei was collected to Anima. She was checked by our vet and no injury was found on her body. C1283-Mcdull was born by her in Anima on 18th September 2016. Anima – October Return to family (C1295-Mi)!

<01-10-2016> C1295-Mi (F), two years old, was rescued by Anima on 30th September 2016, after a call from Mr. Marco reporting that a cat was found with blood in Institute R. de Sacadura Cabral. Mi was sent to a clinic immediately. According to the vet, two parts of her back bone were fracture. She was staying in the clinic for a night and then transferred to a second clinic for further examination. According to the second vet, the broken parts of her back bone might recover herself in six to twelve months. Mi was staying in a second clinic temporary for observation. The owner, Mr. Chio,  contacted us last night telling that Mi escaped from the window during his apartment decoration. Mi was returned to Mr. Chio and he will responsible for the vet bill. <28-09-2016> SPP1406-Money (F), around 4.5  years old that was under our Special Protection Program since 7th February 2015, lives in a friendly association, somewhere in Coloane. We were informed that Money had been vomiting this morning. We found some onion in her food bowl, suspected to have onion toxicity. She was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. Report showed that everything was alright, we will keep an eye on her in the next few days. She was returned to her former place after consultation. Please help us to help them! Anima – September Sad News (465-Holiday)!

<27-09-2016> 465-Holiday (F), was rescued by Anima on 1st April 2009 and stayed with us since that day. Holiday had been taking heart medicine for years! She was found panting, lying on the floor and unable to move yesterday. She was sent to a clinic immediately. Unfortunately she passed away in the clinic at night and the cause of death was cardiac failure. Holiday was a quiet granny, she was very afraid of cold.
