IACM – April Adoption (451-Ivonne)

451-Ivone was adopted from Anima on 20 June 2009 and was abandoned in Praça do Tap Seac. Someone delivered her to IACM. Fortunately, by an old informal policy between Anima and IACM, when we transfer our property to a new adopter our name is internally registered in IACM file. Once an animal is abandoned we are informed by IACM which, by law, can only disclose the microchip. But this is enough for us to know who was the bad guy. Once informed, we immediately called the adopter and the reason is always the same: the family do not want the animal anymore! But why he has not even called us? Why she was just abandoned in a very busy area? Irresponsible people! We were ashamed of him! Anima – April Rescue (SPP1441-Elvira)

Elvira, now SPP1411-Elvira, was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Wai, a bus driver, reporting that SPP1441-Elvira was hit by a truck today morning time in Avenida Son On. She was immediately taken to a vet clinic for surgery. Happily no bone was broken! All costs will be born by Anima and we gave to Elvira the status of SPP. C912-Sherry and C913-Spark were rescued by Anima on March 18, 2015 near Rua dos Mercadores inside a rubbish bin with the eyes infected. In the same day Anima rescued Spark in the same rubbish bin. Anima – School Sam Yuk visited us

Today 15 people visited us, 14 students from the school Sam Yuk. They went to the trails with our animals after a visit to our shelter. Anima is a strong supporter of the protection of our environment! Protection of environment, humans and other animals must always be the centre of our values! More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! In 2014, up to the end of February, we have 1,107 visitors an increase of 39.4% as compared with 937 in the same period of 201, when the visitors increased 18%!
