December Abandonment and Rescue (1357-Melto)!

<21-12-2017> 1357-Melto (M) was rescued with 1356-Melty on December 24, 2014 inside a carton box in Hac-Sa beach near a garbage bin. 1357-Melto was adopted on 5th March 2015. We were informed by IACM on 20th November 2017 that 1357-Melto was caught in Rua Heng Long and the adopter was informed as well. After being nformed by IACM the adopter went to IACM to finish the abandonment procedure. His excuse is that he doesn’t have time to take care of 1357-Melto anymore. We picked up 1357-Melto from IACM today. He is staying with us under quarantine now. Never Abandon your pet! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Anima–December Rescue and Sad News (1953-Istma)!

<20-12-2017> 1953-Istma (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 20th December 2017, after a call from Ms. Fong reporting that an injured dog was found laying down in the road of Seac Pai Van. 1953-Istma was sent to a clinic immediately. X-rays showed that the left hind leg had a fracture. Unfortunately 1953-Istma passed away during the consultation, and the cause of death was an internal bleeding. Thanks Ms. Fong! R.I.P. my friend! Anima–December Rescue and Returned (1951-Kobe)!

<19-12-2017> 1951-Kobe (M), around 13 years old, was rescued by Anima on 19th December 2017, after a call from Institute for Social Affairs reporting that someone  passed away recently and his dog was left behind because the relatives and friends were unwilling or unable to take care of him. We found that 1951-Kobe has a microchip and we contacted IACM to help. The fact is 1951-Kobe’s owner, Ms. Elisabete, has reported to IACM that her dog was missing since July 2016. Anima–December Rescue (C1805-C1808)!

<14-12-2017> C1805-Sila (F), C1806-Silja (F), C1807-Suki (F) and C1808-Sliver (M), were rescued by Anima on 14th December 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. Anima–December Rescue (SPP1940-Jagna)!

<13-12-2017> SPP1939-Jahid (M), SPP1940-Jagna (F) and SPP1941-Jaleh (F), on the time all around seven months old, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and were rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Choi on 22nd November 2017. We were informed by Ms. Choi that SPP1940-Jagna disappeared from their site on 11th December. This morning SPP1940-Jagna showed up and we were able to catch her. Anima–December Rescue (SPP1932-Camelia)!

<11-12-2017> On 14th October 2017 after a call from Ms. Peng, the mother dog SPP1927-Cambria (F), around one year old and her seven puppies, SPP1928-Cadmus (M), SPP1929-Cadoc (M), SPP1930-Cadogan (M), SPP1931-Cade (M), SPP1932-Camelia (F), SPP1933-Camryn (F) and SPP1934-Carita (F), on the time all around three months old all stayed under our Special Protection Program (SPP) together with another two dogs, SPP1935-Keelan (F) and SPP1936-Keanna (F), on the time both around six months old. We were informed that SPP1932-Camelia refused to eat for two days and her others sibling also have the same problem. SPP1932-Camelia was sent to a clinic. According to the vet, she has a strongly canine parvovirus and she has only 30% chance for survival. SPP1932-Camelia is staying in the clinic under treatment now. Please help us to help them! Anima–December Rescue (SPP1485-Hac Mui)!

<11-12-2017> SPP1485-Hac Mui (F), was rescued by Anima on 27th June 2015, after a call from the staff of a friendly association asking us to help Hac Mui as a lump was found hanging from her stomach. She was sent to a clinic immediately for surgery. She was under our Special Protection Program since that day. On 2nd September 2016, we were informed that the appetite of Hac Mui was not good, she was vomiting and there was pus coming out from her vulva as well. Hac Mui was sent to a clinic. She had a pyometra. She was submitted to a surgery to remove the uterus and ovaries and stayed in the clinic for few days. She was returned to her former place on 4th September 2016. Today we were informed again that Hac Mui refused to eat since two days ago. Hac Mui was sent to a clinic and a bone was taken...

Anima–December Rescue (SPP1406-Money)!

<07-12-2017> SPP1406-Money (F),  under our Special Protection Program since 7th February 2015, when she was around 4.5 years old, lives in a friendly association, somewhere in Coloane. Today we are informed that SPP1406-Money was sick. Blood test shows that SPP1406-Money has parasitic infections and she might also have kidney problem.
