Anima–January Rescue (SPP1990-Bongo)!

<29-01-2018> SPP1990-Bongo (M), around two years old, under our Special Protection Program now, was rescued by Anima on 29th January 2018, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a dog was found unable to move in a site. SPP1990-Bongo had a fight and needed few stitches to close up the wound. He was returned to his place after surgery and medication prescribed. Ms. Peng is responsible for him in that area. January Rescue and Sad News (SPP1985-SPP1989)!

<28-01-2018> SPP1985-Marika (F), around four years old, SPP1986-Midian (M) and SPP1987-Miner (M), both around two years old, SPP1988-Miles (M), around one year old, SPP1989-Milton (M), around four months old, under our Special Protection Program now, were rescued by Anima on 28th January 2018, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that she used to feed stray dogs in an area but some of them seems sick recently. SPP1985-Marika was found under a car and looked unconscious, the others have nasal and ocular discharges with coughing. She was sent to a clinic immediately and the distemper test showed positive. According to the vet, there’s nothing we could do for her as the virus already attacked her nervous system, brain and spinal cord. SPP1985-Marika started having convulsions, seizures and paralysis. Anima–January Rescue (C1826-C1829)!

<22-01-2018> C1826-Lassie (F), C1827-Lenni (M), C1828-Leinani (F) and C1829-Lars (M), all around eight months old, were rescued by Anima on 22nd January 2018, after a call from Mr. Yung reporting that he used to feed the stray cats in a building but there’re some cats dying from poison recently. Mr. Yung asked our help. C1826-Lassie, C1827-Lenni, and C1829-Lars were collected by us. C1828-Leinani was caught after we left and she is staying with Mr. Yung temporary. We will pick her up after. <19-01-2018> SPP1981-Nata (F) and SPP1982-Nakato (F), both around two years old, SPP1983-Nariko (F), around one year old, SPP1984-Nasya (F), around four months old,  under our Special Protection Program now, were rescued by Anima on 19th January 2018, after a call from Mr. Cheang reporting that some dogs needed to be spayed, in a site of Macau. Anima–January Rescue (SPPC1711, SPPC1825)!

<18-01-2018> SPPC1711-Abigail (F), was under our Special Protection Program, when she was around four months old, after rescued by Anima on 12th September 2017, by a call from Michele reporting that a kitten needed medical support. SPPC1711-Abigail had high fever with sonorous breathing, ocular discharge and upper respiratory tract infections. She was back to her place after medication prescribed. SPPC1825-Ubon (F), around eight months old, under our SPP Program now, was rescued by Anima on 18th January 2018, after a call from Michele reporting that a cat needed to be spayed. Rescue and Cooperation with IACM (1980-Pinta Preta)!

<17-01-2018> 1980-Pinta Preta (M), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 17th January 2018, after a call from Mr. Luis reporting that IACM was trying to catch a dog near airport since 23rd November because he was chasing the cars. 1980-Pinta Preta was caught by IACM on 5th December. He stayed in the kennel for quarantine and neuter. He was transferred to Coloane Kennel today and is under our staff management. All animals in Coloane Kennel have play times as this is a principle in Anima. No animal is caged. IACM and Anima are cooperating in order to avoid the killing of so many animals. Anima–January Rescue and Sad News (1972-1979)!

<15-01-2018> The mother, 1972-Zanna (F), around two years old, with the puppies, 1973-Zandra (F), 1974-Zalla (F), 1975-Zavia (F), 1976-Zena (F), 1977-Zavier (M), 1978-Zeno (M) and 1979-Zeki (M), all around two days old, were rescued by Anima on 15th January 2018, after a call from Ms. Kuok reporting that a mother dog gave birth to seven puppies. 1975-Zavia and 1976-Zena passed away before we arrived. Anima– Rescue and Sad News (1971-Siu Wong Chai)!

<12-01-2018> 1971-Siu Wong Chai (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 12th January 2018, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that she used to feed stray dogs. There were one mother, one father and five puppies living over that area. One of the puppies was found dead few days ago due to the cold weather. The father, 1971-Siu Wong Chai, disappeared for two days. Our rescue team went to the place with Ms. Lo to check the puppies and found the body of 1971-Siu Wong Chai.
