Anima–March Rescue (C1857-Alivia)!

<10-03-2018> C1857-Alivia (F), around seven months old, was rescued by Anima on 10th March 2018, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a cat, C1857-Alivia, was hiding at the back of the air-conditioner in her shop and seemed got injured. The area that C1857-Alivia was hiding, was very deep down away and very difficult to reach her. Our rescue team also contacted the Fire Department for assistance. According to the witness, C1857-Alivia had fallen down from a building and made a loud noise this morning. C1857-Alivia was rescued  was sent to a clinic immediately. The x-ray showed that her left elbow was fractured. She had internal bleeding and has difficulty to breath. According to the vet, surgery can only be performed when her condition becomes stable. Anima–March Rescue (B092-Sunshine)!

<06-03-2018> B092-Sunshine was rescued by Anima on 6th  March 2018, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a pigeon B092-Sunshine was found near the sidewalk of Rua Um do Bairro Iao Hon and was unable to fly. He asked us for help. B092-Sunshine was sent to a clinic. B092-Sunshine was very weak and need to stay at the clinic for force feeding. Thanks Mr. Leong! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Rescue (C1856-Jill)!

<06-03-2018> C1856-Jill (F), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th March 2018,  abandoned outside our Dog Shelter area. C1856-Jill was inside a container bag, hanged on the fence of the Reservoir near our shelter building. She was checked by our staff. She had two wounds on her right thigh and left anus. C1856-Jill was sent to a clinic immediately as the wounds are very deep and large. According to the vet, the wounds cannot be closed by sutures, we need to clean her wounds constantly and be aware of infection. C1856-Jill was diagnosed with cat flu as well. Anima–March Rescue (C1855-Cassian)!

<04-03-2018> C1855-Cassian (M), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th March 2018, after a call from Ms. Lai reporting that a cat was found in Rua Norte do Patane last night. The cat was very sick and weak, so she asked us for help. C1855-Cassian was sent to a clinic. He was skinny, dehydrated with low temperature, also had feline scabies and dental problems as well. After the prescription of medication at the clinic, C1855-Cassian was collected by us. He was checked by vet and dewormed. He stays at the Cats’ Paradise for quarantine and observation. Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (T011-Nemo)!

<03-03-2018> T011-Nemo was rescued by Anima on 3rd March 2018, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a turtle T011-Nemo was found on the road at Rua da Ribeira do Patane with the shell broken. She asked us for help. T011-Nemo was sent to a clinic immediately. Unfortunately T011-Nemo  passed away after a few hours at the clinic. The death may be caused by severe shell fracture. Anima–March Rescue (SPP2009-Dolly)!

 <03-03-2018> SPP2009-Dolly (F), around two years old, is now under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 3rd March 2018 during our daily feeding in Coloane. Ms. Chan is responsible for her in that area. SPP2009-Dolly was found trembling and had respiratory problem. She was sent to a clinic and has Canine Distemper. Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (SPP1793-Yaron)!

<03-03-2018> SPP1793-Yaron (M), SPP1794-Yeats (M), SPP1795-Yonca (F) and SPP1796-Yiva (F),  were under our Special Protection Program since 3rd September 2016, when they were all  around two months old . They were the puppies of SPP1761-Senga. They lived in a site at Coloane and Mr. Cheong is responsible for them in that area. Today we were informed that the dead body of SPP1793-Yaron was found in the site. We suspected SPP1793-Yaron died from Canine Distemper. R.I.P. my friend!Please help us to help them! Anima – March Rescue (SPP1704-Dorie)!

<02-03-2018> The mother dog SPP1700-Debbie (F) and her five puppies, SPP1701-Darlin (F), SPP1702-Delina (F), SPP1703-Demi (F), SPP1704-Dorie (F) and SPP1705-Darcy were under our Special Protection Program and were rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016. They lived in Coloane and Mr. Kwok is responsible for them. Recently we found out that SPP1704-Dorie gave birth to five puppies. The puppies are around three weeks old now. We will schedule a date for SPP1704-Dorie to be neutered when she is at appropriate time. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (SPP2006-SPP2008)!

<02-03-2018> SPP2006-Jetta (F), around three years old, SPP2007-Juno (M), around two years old and SPP2008-Junius (M), around two years old, under our Special Protection Program now, were rescued by Anima on 2nd March 2018 during the daily feeding in Coloane. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius were found with respiratory illness and head trembling. They were sent to a clinic immediately and they were Canine Distemper positive. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius stayed at the clinic for treatment. We found the dead body of SPP2006-Jetta in the site as well.
