Anima – April Rescue (C1178-Kelly)!

C1178-Kelly (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 27th April 2016, after a call from an old lady reporting that she was severely injured by her cat Kelly at home and she had to stay in hospital for two days. She took care of Kelly for two years already, but according to her Kelly was aggressive from the first beginning. She doesn’t want Kelly anymore! Our rescue team arrived her apartment and found Kelly  locked inside the bathroom. In the first tentative, Kelly escaped when the door was opened. We tried again, when Kelly showed up and she is now with us! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – April Rescue and return (SPP1643-Toner)!

SPP1643-Toner (M) became our SPP dog since 27th January 2016 and he lived somewhere in Coloane under our responsibility. Toner stayed in Anima from 27th February due to tick fever. He recovered, received the first vaccination and was sterilized. Toner was released to his former place on 6th April. Our rescue team was going there every day to give food and we found him showed up in front of shelter few times. Today he came twice to Anima crossing all the mountain and the road from Ka-Ho village to Anima. As this is very dangerous we decided to keep him with us. He loved us and we love him! C1177-Danvers (M), around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 26th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Vicky reporting that she found Danvers at the taxi station near Taipa Market and he was full of fleas. Anima – April Rescue (C1176-Domina)!

C1176-Domina (F), around six years old, was rescued on 26th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that he had been taking care of Domina for five  years in a warehouse, but he didn’t want her anymore as she always pees on his goods. He asked if we could collect her. We lent a container to Mr. Ho and Domina was caught yesterday. She is staying with us in Anima now. Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pet! Anima – April Rescue (SPPC1160-Velvet)!

SPPC1160-Velvet (F), was rescued by Anima through Michele on 25th April 2016, after a call from her reporting that SPPC1160-Velvet was found in Taipa vomiting blood this morning. She was sent to a clinic. She was dehydrated and did a blood test and X-Rays. SPPC1160-Velvet needs to stay overnight in the clinic for observation. Thanks Ms. Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima – April Rescue (SPP1710-Mui Chui II)!

SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng informing that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. Mui Chui II is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). An ultrasound showed that the fetus are already approx. seven weeks old. So we decided for keeping the puppies! C1175-Valentina (F), around eight years old, was rescued on 22nd April 2016, after a call from Mr. Fernando around 9:30 pm, reporting that she was found in Estrada do Coelho do Amaral and she was extremely dehydrated, full of fleas and very weak. Anima – April Rescue (C1173-Cheddar)!

C1173-Cheddar (F), around 10 months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st April 2016, after a call from Mr. Wai informing that C1173-Cheddar fell down from the terrace of Jardim da Victoria (Block H). Our rescue team found C1173-Cheddar trapped in a closed terrace of the building. She was collected, checked and dewormed. Cheddar was dehydrated, has fever and gum problems. Anima – April Rescue (1707-Moppy)!

1707-Moppy (F), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, informing that 1707-Moppy was found near Jockey Club and seems hurt. 1707-Moppy seems not moving well and was soaked under the rain. 1707-Moppy was collected by Anima and no microchip was found. Unfortunately her tail was out of the big cage we have for animals in quarantine (we have no other way to keep them temporarily, even if they have play times during the day) and she was beaten by other dogs and had to go to a clinic for surgery. Many people ask us to help, we are happy to do the best for the animals but we have no safe spaces for them! Today three dogs were rescued in very extreme dangerous situations and we are inventing spaces for them! Please be active and help us instead of...
