Anima–August Return to Family (C1209, C1238)!

<14-08-2017> C1209-Sirus and C1238-Venice were returned to the family after accommodating in Anima for four days. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450 patacas, enough to pay one annual membership fees in the first case and nine months of membership fees in case of a...

Anima–August Sad News (C1610-Tuna)!

<13-08-2017> C1610-Tuna (F), on the time with an estimated age of 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd June 2017, after a call from our rescue team reporting that a kitten was found in the tunnel of Dynasty, soaked and unable to move. C1610-Tuna was checked by our vet and dewormed. She stayed in our Cat’s Paradise. C1610-Tuna was checked in our clinic last week due to diarrhea. She had roundworm and coronavirus. She had been under medication but unfortunately she couldn’t make it. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–Macau New Chinese Youth Association visited us!

<12-08-2017> Today, 45 people visited us, 16 of them were from Macau New Chinese Youth Association that came to our dog shelter! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to July 2017, Anima received 5,601 visitors, an increase of 33.8% as compared with the same period of last year. 83 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 29.7%, and we have been in 28 events organized by friends or by us, an increase of 40%! Anima–August Return (SPP1829-Borsa)!

<12-08-2017> SPP1829-Borsa (F), on the time with an estimated age of seven years old, was under our Special Protection Program when was rescued by Anima on 26th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, reporting that her friend, Ms. Hui, used to feed a dog in a site of Taipa. Borsa got injured on the leg and the hip. We helped Ms. Hui to send Borsa to a clinic as Borsa was difficult to handle. Borsa was returned to her former place after medication prescribed. We were informed by Ms. Hui again that SPP1829-Borsa was injured on 22nd July 2017. She had a big wound on her back. SPP1829-Borsa was sent to a clinic and she received a surgery to close up the wound with 14 stitches. She stayed with us until she recovered and now was released. Anima–August Rescue (R037-Global)!

<12-08-2017> R037-Global (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 12th August 2017, after a call from Mr. Ming of Macau Love Rabbit Association, reporting that Mr. Kou found a rabbit under a footbridge near Ponte 16. Anima–Temporary accommodation (C1209, C1238)!

<11-08-2017> C1189-Sabrin (F), on the time around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 10th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Kou reporting that she found a pregnant cat at Rua de Joao de Araujo. Her belly was very big and tense, the spirit seemed good, but the ears were dirty. C1209-Sirus (M), together with C1208-Sage (M), C1210-Shahi (F), C1211-Saber (M) and C1212-Salmo (M) were born by C1189-Sabrin on 31st May 2016. Sirus was adopted by Mr. Giga on 27th July 2016! C1238-Venice (M), on the time around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Valeriya Bogacheva reporting that she found Venice near the Venetian roundabout. Anima–August Rescue (SPPC1647, SPPC1648)!

<10-08-2017> SPPC1646-Jack (M), SPPC1647-Nadia (F) and SPPC1648-Sabina (F), on the time all around one month old, were under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 19th July 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that three kittens needed body check. SPPC1646-Jack, SPPC1647-Nadia and SPPC1648-Sabina were brought to Anima several times for consultation. Today SPPC1647-Nadia and SPPC1648-Sabina were back to Anima again as they have cat flu and were not eating as well. They are staying with us  under dripping now. Thanks Michele! <08-08-2017> SPPC1179-Dabria (F), on the time around one year old, was rescued by Anima and was under our Special Protection Program since 29th April 2016, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. SPPC1691-Bay (M), around one year old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 8th August 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. They were checked in our clinic today. <07-08-2017> ToTo was adopted by Ms. Ritchie on 7th August 2017! T010-Toto (M), was rescued by Anima on 27th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a tortoise was found in the entrance of Tail of Coloane Park C1 and asked our help.
