Anima–The Parisian Macao Visited Us!

<09-12-2016> Today, 50 people visited our Cat Paradise, 47 people visited our dog shelter, 40 of them were from The Parisian Macao! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to November 2016, Anima received 6,408 visitors, an increase of 20.50% as compared with the same period of last year! Rescue and New Cat Under SPP (SPPC1350, SPPC1351)!

<07-12-2016> SPPC1350-Jupiter (M), with an estimated age of one year old, together with SPPC1351-Moo (M), with an estimated age of 2.5 months old, now under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 7th December 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Jupiter is staying with us temporarily for castration. Moo was returned to his former place after dewormed. Michele is responsible for them in that area. Anima will support the neuter, provide food for all of them and the medical care if needed. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet! Anima-December Sad News (C1173-Cheddar)!

<06-12-2016> C1173-Cheddar (F), was rescued by Anima on 21st April 2016, with an estimated age of ten months old, after a call from Mr. Wai reporting that C1173-Cheddar fell down from the terrace of Jardim da Victoria (Block H). Our rescue team found C1173-Cheddar trapped in a closed terrace of the building. She was collected, checked and dewormed. Cheddar was dehydrated, had fever and gum problems. She was recovered and stayed with us since that. Cheddar was diagnosed with Stomatitis on 28th October 2016. She refused to eat and we started to force feeding since two weeks ago, but she was still getting skinnier. She had bloody diarrhea yesterday and was sent to a clinic for further examination. According to the vet, there was a hard lump in the abdomen, which was most possibly the cause of her condition. A surgery could be done, but the success rate was lower than 10% as Cheddar was...

Anima-December Sad News (H005-Dim Dim)!

<05-12-2016> H005-Dim Dim (M), H006-Sum Sum (F), were with an estimated age of four months old, together with three new born babies H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe, were hamsters rescued by Anima on 6th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Muk, a cleaner in Edificio Wang Son. She found H005-Dim Dim, H006-Sum Sum, H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe in a cage abandoned in the garbage room with a note. H006-Sum Sum is the mother of H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe. They were collected by us and H005-Dim Dim was staying in a separated cage, while H006-Sum Sum was staying with the three babies in another cage! Dim Dim was found passed away this morning without any symptoms. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–December Rescue (C1349-Grey)!

<04-12-2016> C1349-Grey (M), with an estimated age of six years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2016, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that a skinny cat was found in Rua de Cinco de Outubro. Grey was sent to a clinic for consultation. He has an eye infection and dehydration. He is staying in the clinic for observation now. Thanks Mr. Ho! Please help us to help them! Anima–December Adoption (C1299-Julio)!

<04-12-2016> Julio was adopted by Ms. Guan on 4th December 2016! C1274-Jerica (F), was rescued by Anima on 3rd September 2016, with an estimated age of one year old, after a call from Mr. Lee reporting that he used to feed stray cats near Our Lady of Carmel Church and there were around six female cats not yet spayed. We set up a trap and Jerica was caught. She was brought to Anima and was already pregnant. Three kittens, C1299-Julio (M), C1300-Jeffery (M) and C1301-Jorge (M) were born by her on 7th October 2016. Anima–Nichi and Tango Need New Homes!

<04-12-2016> Please help Nichi and Tango to find adopters as soon as possible! We received a message from Ms. Taylor on 4th December 2016, reporting that there are two dogs being mistreated by her neighbors and they need a new home. Nichi (F), a Golden Retriever, with an estimated age of 14 years old, was spayed already. Tango (M), a Schnauzer, with an estimated age of four years old, is not yet castrated. We were told by Ms. Taylor that they are locked in a balcony all day in  small cages and the owner wants to take them to IACM to put them sleep. As far as we understood they came to her house for  bath an were delivered back to the former owner, as she has two dogs already, and according to her, it is difficult for her to keep two more. Anima–Temporary Accommodation (1721-Konya)!

<03-12-2016> See Konya now and when she was adopted! 1721-Konya (F) is now accommodated in Anima for 15 days, until 17th December. SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, with an estimated age of 1.5 years old, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng reporting that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. An ultrasound showed that the fetus were already approx. seven weeks old. So we have decided for keeping the puppies! 1721-Konya together with 1718-Kimon, 1719-Kennis, 1720-Kuni, 1722-Kassie, 1723-Komie, 1724-Kolm, 1725-Kulee and 1726-Kerin were born on 11th May 2016. Anima-December Sad News (C432-Whitney)!

<03-12-2016> C432-Whitney (M), with an estimated age of seven years old now, was rescued by Anima on 22nd November 2012, after a call from Ms. Lee reporting that an injured cat was found in the border gate. He had been staying in the clinic since 23rd November 2016 due to Dermatitis. He had severe skin lesion on the back, the skin was inflamed and irritated, found with Feline Pancreatitis and dehydrated as well. Unfortunately Whitney couldn’t make it. We were informed by the clinic that he passed away last night and the cause of death was Pancreatitis. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! <03-12-2016> Maple was adopted by Mr. Cheong on 3rd December 2016! C1332-Maple (F), was rescued by Anima on 11th November 2016, with an estimated age of three months old, after a call from Ms. Chio reporting that a blind kitten was found in the car park of The Residencia Macau.
