Anima–Adoption Day in Grand Coloane Resort!

<25-12-2016> Anima has a joint event with the Grand Coloane Resort “Christmas Village Opening Day” and “Anima Adoption Day” on 25th December 2016, from 12 noon to 6 pm! We have a family and kids fun zone, international food and beverage booths, live performances, pets adoption corner and festival art jamming inside the hotel area. All with free Entrance, Parking and Shuttle Bus! All donation during the event is for ANIMA! Around 25 people were with us today at Grand Coloane Resort! We were supported by four volunteers, Joey, Kaci, Kandy and Ivy and we took three of our dogs. Thank you all for your big support! Please do not buy, Adopt! News, SPP Returned

Anima–Dog Under SPP Returned (SPP1711-Browny)!

<24-12-2016> Browny was released on 24th December 2016! SPP1711-Browny (F), with an estimated age of one year old, together with SPP1712-La La and SPP1713-Hac Chai 2, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 26th April 2016. La La and Hac Chai 2, that were caught by IACM, are now living in Coloane Kennel under our supervision. Browny was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that she accidently hit Browny in a site of Coloane. Browny’s right hind leg was limping. She was sent to a clinic and Ms. Peng was responsible for the payment of the clinic. Browny had a surgery in the same day. She has recovered and was returned to her former place today. Ms. Peng is responsible for her in that area. Please be careful when you drive! Be sure there is no animal beside your car! Please help us to help them! Do not abandon...

Anima–December Return to Family (687-Rex)!

<24-12-2016> 687-Rex (M) was returned to the family after accommodation in Anima for 14 days, since 11th December 2016. Ms. Ng and the family came several times to Anima to walk Rex, before adopting Rex! Rex was adopted by Ms. Ng on 20th June 2015. Rex was one of our well known dogs, friendly with people, puppies and all dogs. He was one of our ambassadors! We are happy to see Rex again. If you adopt an animal from us, you have the privilege to leave your animal in Anima during 15 days free of charge during the first year of adoption, provided we have space. Anima–December Rescue (H014-H017)!

<23-12-2016> H014-Aggy (M), H015-Annie (M), H016-Bubba (M) and H017-Buddy (M), were rescued by Anima on 23rd December 2016, after a call from Ms. Kuok reporting that she found four hamsters abandoned near the garbage bin in Rua de Évora. They were checked by our vet and stay with us  now. Thanks Ms. Kuok! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–Temporary Accommodation (1625-Wallace)!

<20-12-2016> See Wallace now and when he was rescued! 1625-Wallace, that was adopted by Mr. Mário Rui on 13th February 2016, is now accommodated in Anima for 14 days until 2nd January 2017. 1625-Wallace, 1626-Walmond and 1627-Wardell, all two weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 6th January 2016, after a call from Billy, our vice-president, reporting that Ms. Ian referred to him that they were alone, as several mothers in a construction site were caught by IACM. Those puppies had to go to Anima as the Pets Shop contacted by Ms. Ian could not feed them night time! Wallace was adopted by Mr. Mário Rui on 13th February 2016! Thanks Mr. Mário! Anima-December Sad News (SPPC1327-Huck)!

<20-12-2016> The mother, SPPC1324-Polly (F), on the time with an estimated age of three years old, together with her kittens, SPPC1325-Becky (F), SPPC1326-Sawyer (M) and SPPC1327-Huck (M), on the time all with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 7th November 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Polly had upper respiratory infection and the breathing was not clear. Becky, Sawyer and Huck had eye discharge and inflammation. They were returned to their former place after dewormed and medication prescribed in the same day. They were brought to Anima again on 29th November 2016 by Michele. Polly was staying with us to be spayed. Becky, Sawyer and Huck were staying with us for adoption. Huck was found dehydrated and had hypothermia that we even couldn't read the body temperature this morning, heart rate was irregular as well. He refused to eat since two...

Anima–December Adoption (SPPC1161-Midget)!

<20-12-2016> Midget was adopted by Ms. Fan on 20th December 2016! SPPC1161-Midget (F), was under our Special Protection Program since 14th April 2016, with an estimated age of 2.5 years old, after a call from Michele reporting that she needed vaccination, internal and external deworm. She was returned to her former place in the same day after vaccinated and dewormed. Midget was brought to Anima again on 5th October 2016 by Michele as she was vomiting, dehydrated and not eating as well. She was staying with us under medication and observation. Anima–Temporary Accommodation (783-Trileg)!

<19-12-2016> Jumpy (former Trileg) was abandoned on 25 January 2012, because who was in charge of him referred that he barked night time! He was adopted by Shibani on July 8, 2012 and lives happy with the family! Jumpy is a very big and friendly black dog that had a leg very damaged when living in a site in Taipa. We had no choice than to cut his leg! Jumpy is now accommodated in Anima for 24 days until 11th January 2017. We are happy to see Jumpy again. Never buy, please adopt! Anima–Return and Abandonment (1502-Saskia)!

<19-12-2016> 1502-Saskia (F), with an estimated age of six years old now, was rescued by Anima on 21st July 2015, after a call from Ms. Zheng reporting that a dog was found limping in Rua do Visconde Paço de Arcos (Near Bridge 16). Saskia had difficulties to move. 1502-Saskia was sent to a clinic immediately for an X-Rays. The result showed she had not a fracture but a hernia. She would stay with us forever unless adopted as she was not in condition to be released! Saskia was adopted on 16th December 2016. However, she was returned today as the adopter said his daughter has an allergy. There is a probation period for all animals and adopters of 15 days! We want a perfect «marriage» between animal and owner! Please adopt and never buy! An adoption is a serious decision!
