Anima – Macau Anglican College Visited Us!

<21-09-2016> Today, 39 people visited us, 28 of them were from Macau Anglican College! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to August 2016, Anima received 4,703 visitors, an increase of 23.86% as compared with the same period of last year! Anima – September Foster Return (SPP1666-Tiko)!

< 21-09-2016> SPP1666-Tiko (M) was rescued by Anima in Coloane on 14th March 2016 as he was found breathing hard and vomiting. He was sent to a clinic for consultation immediately and he had to stay overnight there for observation. The first vet opinion shown he needed a surgery but could only do it after few days and he had possibilities of survive. A second vet opinion from other clinic referred that the success of a surgery was very limited and serious danger might occur during the surgery. Meanwhile, until the first vet was capable to do the surgery, Anima sent Tiko to a third clinic, talked directly to the major vet and the opinion was that his stomach was inside the chest, making him to have breathe difficulties. We didn’t wait and he had the surgery that time. If not he might not survive. He survived and he stays with us healthily...

Services provided to our community (1802, 1803)!

<20-09-2016> Anima helped Ms. Ana Ferreira to deliver her dogs, 1802-Amahee (F) and 1803-Meili (F) as she doesn’t have a car. A fee is collected to help the financing of our activities. Some community members that cannot afford do no pay at all. Anima members are exempt! To be a member of Anima you just need to pay an annual fee of MOP 360 if you are an adult or MOP 120 if you are a juvenile! Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pet! Anima – September New Born (C1283-Mcdull)!

<18-09-2016> C1270-Mei (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 26th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that a cat fell down from a building in Estrada Mei Keng to her balcony and entered her apartment. Mei was collected to Anima. She was checked by our vet and no injury was found on her body. Today one kitten C1283-Mcdull was born by her. Welcome to this world! Please help us to help them! Anima – September Sad News (C1121-Sewell)!

<18-09-2016> C1121-Sewell (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 13th February 2016, after a call from Ms. Lau reporting that a cat was found dying in a building near Calçada do Januario and she asked us to help. Sewell was sent to a clinic immediately and he had to stay there for a while. He was found lethargic and refused to eat recently. His belly was bloated, most likely peritoneal effusion. He was found dead this morning, suspected to have FIP. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – September Adoption (C1275-Millian)!

<18-09-2016> Millian was adopted by Mr. Ho on 18th September 2016! C1275-Millian (F), on the time around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd September 2016, after a call from Ms. Fung reporting that a kitten was found near the garbage bin of Red Market. Millian was collected to Anima. She was fostered temporarily by our cat supervisor Ms. Peng as she needed milk. She stayed with us until now. Thanks Mr. Ho! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima – September Adoption (C1273, C1276)!

<18-09-2016> Johan and Jophin were adopted by Ms. Koo on 18th September 2016! C1273-Johan (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd September 2016, after a call from Ms. Pang reporting that there was a cat she used to feed since half year ago in Edificio Yak Lei. The cat got pregnant and gave birth to two kittens. One of the kittens Johan was caught that day. Another kitten C1276-Jophin (F) was caught on 8th September 2016.
