June Rescue (H063, H064, H065, H066, H067, H068, H069)!

<12-06-2020> H063-Peach (F), H064-Loquat (F), H065-Carambola (F), H066-Rose (F), H067-YangMei (F), H068-Chayote (F) and H069-Pitaya (F), all around three months old, were rescued by Anima on 12th June 2020, from Macau Kennel. They were rescued by I.A.M on 31st May, a case referral by Departamento Policial das Ilhas - Comissariado de Coloane, regarding that 7 hamsters were found abandoned on the side of the road at Seac Pai Van near a Bus Stop in a plastic box. Also, H055-Star Fruit (M), H056-MangoSteen (M), H057-JuJuBe (M), H058-Rambutan (M), H059-Physalis (M), H060-Sapodilla (M), H061-Guara (M), H062-Golden Apple (M), all around three months old, were rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2020, after received a message on Facebook by Mr. Hong, reporting that 8 hamsters were found abandoned at the same place. It’s suspected that they were abandoned by the same person as the hamsters are the same breed. Thanks, I.A.M.! Please help us...

Anima–May Adoption (C2316, C2323, C2324)!

<30-05-2020> Lucka, Quinta and Queeny were adopted by Ms. Narana, today! C2323-Quinta (F) and C2324-Queeny (F), around 2 weeks old by the time, were rescued by ANIMA on 25th April 2020, after received a case referral from AniHelp – Oscar regarding that 3 kittens were found directly on the ground and under bushes by Mr. Lao at Jardim de Luís de Camões. C2316-Lucka (F), around one month old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 15th April 2020, after a call from Mr. Li reporting that a small kitten was found alone on the construction site opposite to Mercado Municipal de S. Lourenço where he works. All the kittens have been in our Cats’ Paradise. Lucka, Quinta and Queeny were adopted by Ms. Narana, today! Thanks, Ms. Narana! Please, Adopt and never Buy! Anima–May Miscarriage (C2353, C2354, C2355)!

<26-05-2020> C2353-Marie (F), around 6 months old, was rescued by Anima on 26th may 2020, after a call from Mr. Peter regarding that her cat, C2353-Marie was having difficult to give birth for a while and today there is a kitten stuck in her pelvic canal. According to Mr. Peter, he has asked the quotation from the veterinary clinic but he can’t afford the expenses as he has no job now. He asked us to help. C2353-Marie was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, caesarean is required. Two dead kittens, C2354-Merida and C2355-Muppets were removed from the uterus. <26-05-2020> 1398-Alexis was one of the babies of SPP1393-Adelina that was found pregnant by Anima and has given birth to five puppies on 21 January 2015. He was adopted by Mr. Pedro on 13th April 2015. For personal reasons, the adopter decided to abandon Alexis in Macau Kennel. 1398-Alexis, around five and a half years old now, was rescued by Anima today, from Macau Kennel! Never Buy, please! New cats SPP (SPPC2341, SPPC2342, SPPC2343, SPPC2344)!

<20-05-2020> SPPC2341-Calie (F), SPPC2342-Calvin (M), SPPC2343-Colleen (F) and SPPC2344-Cyris (M), all around one and a half months old, they are now under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 20th May 2020. The four kittens were rescued by Anima today, after receive messages from Ms. Carla reporting that in her work place, Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro, there is a family of a mother cat with four kittens. Ms. Carla notice that one kitten had an eye blowing out of his face while the other kittens had severe eye problem may be due to herpesvirus. Anima borrow two cat traps and Ms. Carla manage to capture all kittens. They were sent to a clinic for consultation. SPPC2341-Calie as severe infection and need to have surgery to remove the eye. SPPC2342-Calvin, SPPC2343-Colleen and SPPC2344-Cyris are in better shape but also need treatment and medical care. They all stay in the clinic today. Thanks, Ms....

May new animals under SPP (SPP2270;SPPC2332;SPPC2233)!

<08-05-2020> SPP2270-Hidi (F), around 6 years old, SPPC2332-Garfield (M), around 9 years old, SPPC2333-Ah Dee (M), around 3 years old, became all under our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 8th may 2020, after a call from Mr. Hoi regarding that the family of Mrs. Law had two Shiba Inu with 2 cats and are now in financial trouble, uncapable of taking care of the pets. On 23rd April, Anima created a post on Facebook to promote for adoption the two Shiba Inu: Bozi (M), around 5 years old and Hidi (F), around 6 years old. Originally Bozi and Hidi were adopted by two different families, but Hidi jumped out of the building from the balcony. She was rescued by Fire Department. Anima–April Rescue (C2326; C2327; C2328; C2329; C2330)!

<28-04-2020> C2326-Nash (M), C2327-Nell (F), C2328-Nami (F), C2329-Nita (F) and C2330-Neda (F), all around 18 days old, were rescued by Anima on the 28th April 2020, after a call from Ms. Cheng reporting that herself and colleagues found five kittens in Hac Sa Beach area. The mother cat had passed away recently with rat poison. All the kittens were consulted and now stay in our Cats’ Paradise. C2330-Neda will be fostered by Mandy for a while. Anima–April Rescue and Return (B147-Morgan)!

<27-04-2020> B147-Morgan, a wild young hawk-cuckoo, was rescued by Anima on 27th April 2020, after a call from Mr. Alahakoon informing us that a young bird, B147-Morgan, was found at R. da Patinagem and he was unable to fly. He asked us to help. Morgan was sent to a clinic where he recovered and was ready to go back to nature. B147-Morgan was released to the trail near ANIMA today! Thanks, Mr. Alahakoon! Anima–Rescue and Sad News (SPP2228; SPP2219; SPP2218)!

<22-04-2020> The puppies, SPP2219-Julien and SPP2228-Judia, around five months old, were rescued by Anima on the 22nd April 2020, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that the puppy Julien had vomited the food he ate which was dog dry food plus some rice. SPP2218-Juliana, another sibling, was found dead this morning. It was suspected that Juliana could have parvovirus due to the sudden death. Julien was tested for parvovirus and results showed positive. All the puppies were vaccinated before. SPP2228-Judia and SPP2219-Julien stay under treatment and separated from other dogs now.
