Anima-August Sad News (415-Kira)!

On 20th May 2020, it was reported by our handler that 415-Kira couldn’t stand up and was showing lack of appetite.
She was sent to a clinic for consultation on the following day. Blood test results revealed urinary tract infection and X-rays showed that she had bone spurs. Her condition worsened very quickly and, despite all medical care, she progressed from limping to paralysis. She also suffered with the several pressure sores on her body.
Weak and in constant need of force feeding, her health deterioration was irreversible and her life seemed to have become too distressing.
After discussing with the vet, and approved by two Anima board members, she was euthanized today in no pain conditions.
The last decision is always from the President of Anima and it is always very hard to make!
