Anima–January Sad News (C2164-Sindy)!

C2164-Sindy (F), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on the 14th July 2019, after a call from a lady saying that her neighbor was hospitalized and passed her the key to his house, so she could take care of the place, where he had three cats and three turtles.
The lady asked us to collect the cats, with owner’s authorization.
All were welcomed in our Cat’s Paradise!
Recently, C2164-Sindy vomited twice and she is not eating, with a weak behavior.
She was sent to a clinic for consultation.
According to the vet, Sindy has an intra-abdominal hemorrhage, suspected from her liver, as she was diagnosed with swollen liver before.
Blood transfusion was considered to temporarily improve her condition, but might not be a long-term and sustainable solution if her internal bleeding is not stopped.
Hemostatic injection and fluids were given.
Besides all our and medical efforts, Sindy passed away today in the clinic.
