Anima–July Rescue (C2600-Ballon)!

C2600-Ballon (M), a cat around one and a half years old, was rescued by Anima on 25th July, 2021.
Anima was contacted by CPSP at 4:18am reporting that a cat had fallen from a high-rise window into a balcony at ‘The Residencia Macau’.
Ballon was rescued by our team in critical condition and immediately sent to a clinic. X-Ray results revealed internal bleeding and a spleen rupture.
Sadly, he would pass away in the clinic at 10:05am.

The owner recognized the cat and confirmed he fell out from an open window in her house.
The body of C2600-Ballon was collected by IAM for autopsy to determine the cause, mode and manner of death.
The owner was punished by a fine in accordance with the Animal Protection Law of Macau.
