Anima-September Sad News (2389-Hac Chai)!

2389-Hac Chai (M), a 10-year-old dog, was rescued by Anima on 15th August 2021, after having been found by a member of our staff trapped in an open sewage channel in Coloane.
Hac Chai was found very weak, and his ears were rotten with maggots.
We were able to find the owner who reported that Hac Chai had been disappeared for five days.
He needed urgent care and Anima agreed to support part of the vet bills, as the owner claimed to be unable to afford them.
Hac Chai has been hospitalized in a clinic under treatment.
Unfortunately, after being discharged, 2389-Hac Chai passed away.
According to a vet, infection on the wound and other issues might had damage some neurons responsible for vital functions.
